This is my Northern lights auto Christmas tree :) she just turned 12 weeks. I have read that this plant should be ready to harvest 10 to 12 weeks. Mine still looks like it need a lot more time?

Autos aren’t my thing but I’ve read here that just like photos how many weeks you’re told or read it should take it’s just a guideline.

Watch for amber and cloudy trichomes.

Thanks..I've got a couple others going now with cleaned up bottoms and topped..This one above was my first, hasn't been too easy but I've learned a lot in a short time.

Do you know how to check if it’s ready to harvest?

You’ll need one of the following; jewelers loupe, phone or PC microscope, very good zoom on a smartphone.

I've read to watch for when the pistols turn Amber..mine are clearly white still. Seems healthy still, drinks lots of water. Leaves are drying now. Just a bit worried that 12 weeks is long for this plant. Maybe it's gone through too much for my first and it is what it is. It hasn't been pruned much and wasn't topped

Looks good. Watch the trichomes on the buds.They start clear. You want mostly cloudy with some amber. This is why you need magnification.

IDK🤷‍♂️ I’m not that good. Some strains, like Sativa take 10+ weeks. I’ve read some autos can take quite long. Every grow is different is the only consistent thing. 😂

I doubt you did worse than me. I’ve had spider mites, perfume, heat/light stress, deficiencies, over water, under water, over feed, (you getting the idea yet?) etc.

And if you did...so what? You learned and your all set to try again.

Doesn’t have to be. Grow how you want. Finish this one off then start a new grow and journal. The farm will help as needed.

This is great..I'll get one, my magnifier from the dollar store isn't cutting it lol..I have a spiderfarmer 3000 and these nutrients. These seeds.9 males 1 female lol

What do your biggest buds look like? At 12 weeks I’d imagine you’re around week 6 of flower, but I also noticed those are reg seeds not fem did you check for males?

I took the males away right away..yes about 6 weeks of flowering
