Didn't really get in at the beginning, but here's how they are now. Four on the left are White Widow, two on the right are AK 48, all from Nirvana Seeds. Been fighting bugs this year, mites (now gone), caterpillers (now gone) and thrips (almost gone). But the girls are still healthy.

Been feeding with Botanicare Grow once a week. Water has plenty of calcium and magnesium in it, so no supplements.

It's interesting that the white widow has two distinct phenotypes, the two short, tight plants, and the two taller, lankier plants. I grew these last year, and the weed was some of the strongest me and my friends have smoked.

The AK48 is a new strain for me. Those plants are just gonna be bud factories; tips everywhere.

Hope you like my grow.

Great looking plants OMR. Should be some fire smoke. What type of trellis are you going to use for these heavy girls?
Dunno. I put some silica into the mix to generate stem strength, and they are blown by the wind every day. The stalks may be strong enough that they don't need a trellis. I really should have strung a trellis at four feet a month ago and let them grow through it, but it's too late for that. We'll see what they need.

By the looks of how healthy they are, they will get a lot bigger yet. It's not too late, they'll be in the ground for 2+ months longer.
If it was me I would go get some 8 ft. T-posts and space them evenly along the edge of the raised bed. Then you could layer trellis netting or simply run some nylon string every foot or so to prevent flop, but also be able to access them if you need to work on em.

I ran Nirvana's AK48 4 years ago indoors and out and had some really great phenos. One of my outdoor girls finished mid August. I'm probable a lot lower latitude than you though. Are they starting to through out pistils?

Just starting. I figure late september, early october. I'm loving how bushy these are; they are gonna be bud factories. Here's a better shot of the AK's.

Ask and ye shall receive. Gotta get net tomorrow.

Today's pics. They are looking really healthy. The trellis net is almost invisible from them growing through it in just four days. The weather has been hot and sunny, and they are eating it up.
Below is, respectively, the AK48s, a leaf shot of the big White Widow, all the girls (four WW on the left, two AK's on the right) and a leaf shot of the little WW.

Those stakes are 8 ft 1x2's, for scale.
