little update. been 6 weeks of flowering...i think. anyway, the plants are doing great and the buds are getting alittle size to them. some crystals are forming nice and some or the white hairs (someone tell me the technical name please so i can quit calling them hairs, also if you have a diagram of all names post it) are turning brown. not enough to pick yet but probably 10%-30%. gonna chop when about 70% are brown. i'm hoping they get bigger and bigger within the next 2 weeks. prolly gonna feed the next week and then flush the week after. havent made up my mind yet.

i've got a few clones going and about 20 seeds that are germed. tomorrow gonna go out and scout some spots for some guerilla farming. gonna germ and put out plants all throughout the summer. should be a good fall. anyway, that'll be another grow diary. here's what you're here to see.

they've come so far. i feel as if they're my children. in a way they are. i've cared and nutured from seed. spent countless hours researching, potting, pruning, and caring. spent countless dollars on nutes, soil, pots, lighting. all in all this grow has taught me patience. i won't be doing an indoor grow for the summer but, i will be doing alot of outdoor growing. give me your thoughts and comments.

here ya go

hey everyone. havent posted pics in alittle bit so i'm here to give a pictoral update. the plants are looking good. there's one that looks like it's maybe a different strain. the stigmas are thicker and the bud is larger and forms more of a cola. i have 2 others that seem to be a different strain as well. they're shorter and more bushy and don't look like mj as much. they may just be taking more time than the others. they don't appear to be producing much resin.

i chopped one plant not too long ago and dried it for a sample. i took a few hits from metal pipe and the smoke seemed harsh so i didn't smoke much. i rolled the sample into 8 cigs. dunno the weight. maybe 3-5 grams. it smoked alot better and wasn't harsh at all. the high was mellow, no paranoia, uplifting, but gave me the munchies big time. it seemed to be more of a body high. first my back and head felt alittle tingly and relaxed then my legs felt relaxed as well. overall nice. i'm gonna give the other cigs away as samples so i can get other to critique it.

i think i'll be letting the plants go for 10-12 weeks. today they begin their 8th week of flowering. they've really come along in the last week or so. the next few should be awesome. my original plan, or hopes should i say, was to chop around week 8. while reading i read sinsemillia will usually flower longer and produce more bud if given the chance since the plant doesn't have to waist time or energy producing seed so i'm willing to wait an extra month if i have to.

i had 3 pots that were alittle bigger so i went ahead and repotted a few of the plants. i also did some more lst'ing so the lower buds will get more light. i still need to add alittle more lighting from underneath.

i had to time one bud up. i bent the stem while trying to lst. didn't seem to effect it's overall health but, it may have slow bud production.

the smell isn't too bad. i don't really have anything to help combat it. smells nice to me. once dried it has a kinda spicy smell to it. wish it were more of a fruity taste and smell but, oh well. the smoke doesn't have a taste. just smoke. not bad at all tho.

I haven't harvested yet. Got another 2-3 weeks still. I got about 5 grams (8 joints) from the one I harvested early.

ok couldn't help it. here's some pics for you all. i know it looks like they've gotten taller but, they haven't. i just elevated the ones on the outside so they could get more light. been trying to squeeze all of them as close to the light as possible. another 2 weeks should be good. i leaned in to move one of the plants in the back and my arm touched one of the plants got sticky. should be nice.

today i went to water the plants and started looking at the color of the hairs to see about how long until harvest (don't have an eye loupe :( ).started looking really closely and noticed something on one of my smaller plants. started picking at it and it was a seed! i kinda paniced and immediately started checking the rest of the plants. the others were fine from what i can see. not sure if just this one plant hermied on me or i accidentally pollinated it when i still had males around. either way it's ok. i chopped it. it looked more ready to harvest than the others. i think it was just one area of the plant that made seeds tho. maybe they'll all be fem seeds. that'd be cool.

anyway, just thought i'd give you all an update. will post pics wednesday.

hay user..if I remember the beginning of this post I think they were all bag seed..and bag seed tends to hermie twords the end of flowering..how you think all them seeds got in the bag to start with...lol my experiance is that further in the generations of bag seed, they will hermie liek mad. The recessive gene becomes a dominant one. Chances are , yes that will be a fem seed and chances are that you will find one here or there on all your plants..especially twords the bottom buds where pollen is offen dropped. Once your able to get stronger genetics, you will be able to grow bus without seeds, but alot of plants will pop flowers twords the end...it's the way of continuing the life cycle for the palnt. Try to get yourself a loope. The hairs sure arn't the way to tell if the plant is done. You will go from smoking weed to smoking good weed to smoking killer weed. Looking forward to pics!!

may not be much help now, but e-bay had some nice deals and you can get a 30x for about 10.00 USD including shipping. I started out eith a 30x but now also have a 60x-90x lighted for looking really close to determine my harvest time. Got it off e-bay also for around 15.00usdthe pistols will start turning about 2 weeks or so before it's reeally harvest time. Plus once you are growing something that you know what is is, you'll have a better idea when to harvest it because you'll be able to get proper info on the strand. Anyway, looking forward to the next pics!!

got about 4 oz. if i would've let the other 2 plants grow more i could've got 5 but, this is fine with me.

Not sure. Just got a new job that does testing. I had to use synthetic urine tp get it. I'd love to try it tho.
