My little DIY UC systems

Figured I'd share my little grow I have going so far and look for insight from the big kids :)

So I built two systems that are made up of 4 sites each using 5 gallon buckets, 2" pvc, Uniseals, and some homemade netpots out of 2 gallon buckets.

Every two weeks I flushed for 6 hours during nute change out.

The system on the left 4x DJ Short Blueberry Clones
The system on the right has 3x Sour D and 1x Sweet Island Skunk.

This is a legal med grow in my state.

Lights are 2x 600w galaxy hps

I've been reading a lot of the other threads and noticing that people are trimming a lot of their lower growth. I am tempted to do the same as some of my lower growth is dying. I want to try to leave as much as possible though because I plan to add H&G Shooting Powder later on and wouldn't mind having whatever extra energy stored I can. Any opinions on this would be great, thanks!

I don't mind the tedious work with a few bowls and some time, gave me plenty
of time to work out the other little details.

you must live someplace very cold?..because i see no EX venting at all AND you have 2 chillers.and those things put off major heat...unless theres something im not seeing?.

I live in Co, and it's getting pretty cold.

At first the carbon scrubber was just recycling air through the hoods,
while the AC exhaust was running with ducting to another room.

I have since changed things and have the light ducting going out to that
same room, along with the ac exhaust then scrubbing. The chillers don't really have to
work that hard to keep things at 61* but they do put out a bit of heat.

During lights out the room gets down to about 70* and during lights on
it gets to about 82 at the highest.

While it was getting colder I had weird issues of the night time temps causing a raised humidity as high as
55/60. I have since installed a nice dehumidifier which is also putting out a bit of heat as well, but don't wanna risk any mold or anything.

I'm still messing with exactly how I want to run the duct
work as two rooms over I have access to a dryer vent and I'm considering running things out of there, especially during the summer months when I'll actually be fighting the heat.

In regards to an earlier comment about putting up a layer of panda on the walls, I lived in Dallas before here and had panda paper on my walls there. Somehow some moisture built up behind one of the sheets and I developed some mold on my wall in that area, I had no idea until I was tearing down the panda film and found black spots. It was quite disturbing and disgusting.

While I never found any mold on my buds before in that other house, I'm very leery of covering the walls with material that can't breath.

Did a week 2 nute changeout today. Small trichs started showing about 2 days ago. Gotta say thanks to greenleaf nutrients, everything has gone great so far!
