High everyone..!!

This is my first post here at THCfarmer, but not the last.. I've been building my new microlab this week.. I have the post out on icmag as well.. So for this first post, i'm gonna copy-paste it over here :P And then i can start my log here as well..

"I've had a couple of threads here before, but without internet at home, it's been difficult to continue on my logs here..
Now i've moved to a new place and i've been ordering internet as well, so i'm gonna start update as much as possible again on my logs..

This weekend i've been building my new micro lab.. I had a big DR120 tent, but my new apartment is too small for that, so i got out to find some cabinets and closets to make my own design on a new lab that can fit in the new apartment.

I found two file cabinets at a second hand shop, i got both for 20 euros. I fell in love with them and planned everything in my head. The two cabinets are gonna work for mothers and clones, one for mothers with a reflector and 85w cfl (E40 socket) and one for clones, lined up with white plastic and a 65w cfl (E27 socket). Right now i'm not using any fans, i have fans, but can't find them yet :P But it's no problem, it's just to open the doors and the plants are fine.. I'm gonna put out my pics with a small step by step guide to how i build it, feel free to ask questions

Then i took out everything, and cleaned it well inside..

Then i lined the whole inside with white plastic and some mylar.

To put the drawers together, i took a small piece of plywood and glued it to the drawers with some plastic and screws.

I had one reflector extra, so i put it in the mother cabinet with a 85w cfl light.. I put it in the roof, and the wires fit nicely outside the edge of the reflector, creating a clean and tidy space without any wires in the way..

This is the back of the cabinet, like i said, i don't have any fans atm, but i will install it when i find them I'm gonna use passive air with vents, and install a small outtake fan.

This is my cloning cabinet, as you can see, instead of a reflector i used a normal E27 socket with some mylar on the top. The light is a 65w cfl.

Then it was just to screw everything together again. My hands are killing me, i don't have any electric tools, i only used a screwdriver for both the cabinets

My thread was titled 500w, and many of you might think that i'm done, but no. I have a closet as well. But it's not been built yet. I have a 400w HPS that i'm gonna use for flowering, and i'm planning on designing a closet on top of the cabinets with this. Everything is on wheels as well, for easy handling and maintenance.

My growing plan will be micro SOG like Dr bud.. I plan on taking clones every 3 week, and harvest 20 small plants every 3 week for a perpetual harvest.. In total i will be having my four mother plants, vanilla kush, sweet deep grapefruit, and two mothers of blue cheese bagseed. And 20 clones in the other cabinet. And finally around 60 small plants in the flowering closet. As i'm living in Spain atm, i also have some clones flowering outside now. And one new auto from paradise seeds that i got in canamo magazine "Pandora".. Pics and more updates will be out as soon as i get internet at home"

What up bro! Props on the dual cabs, I think we've got about the same amount of growing space cab wise and from the sounds of it you will be running your cabs the same way I do as well.

Have you thought at all about ventilation? Even if you are keeping the door open to keep temps down your gonna want something to move and exchange the air inside. I assume you want some level of stealth, are you thinking at all about light proofing? Carbon scrubber? Solid build, keep workin at it, respect brah.

Another great micro grow! very clean and well built. props man.

I had an idea but not sure if it would work. I was thinking about growing in one of those mini fridges to control temps. Has anyone had any experience with this? Perhaps I should start a new thread. hmm

Joint Ops: Yeah i'm gonna install two small circulation fans later, and i have a small outtake fan somewhere in my room, but can't find it, just been moving and some of my stuff is still in bags.. Light leaks are no problem, you can barely see the lights when it's dark in the room.. The cable guy from the internet company was inside the room as well yesterday, no problem :) But i'm gonna install some sort of light proof later.. No carbon scrubbers in these cabinets, don't have problems with smell with my mother plants, but of course if it starts to smell, i have to install one.. My plan is to install two passive intakes in the back of both cabinets, one outake fan for the mothers, and one circulation fan in each one.. And i'm gonna put a big closet on top of this, there i have to install another outtake fan with carbon scrubber for flowering.. Gonna take 20 clones every 16 day, and harvesting 20 every 16 day.. Thats my plan for now, but i have found one hydropot at Lidl, they are selling it today, looks like a earthbox, but smaller. I was thinking of buying four of these and have them in the flowering, then i can harvest 4 big plants instead.. We'll see.. I'm so impulsive, i get new ideas everyday :P Think i'm gonna take some clones today as well.. Update when i have pics :) You can see me walking down the streets of costa blanca J.O, thats where i'm at, close to alicante ;)

Time for a new update..!

Yesterday I found my outtake fan, so i took it apart, cleaned it and it worked perfectly.. I found it in a trash can while helping my friend move, so it's no cost on this little baby.. I found the name and serial number on the inside, so i talked with my good friend Google to help me find out more info, and he gave me this link:

Today I have done nothing but take some clones and getting the mothers new haircuts:eyelash:
I can get 2 trays of 15 clones inside the cabinets, i'm using 2dl white plastic cups for cloning.. The soil is called "Biofertil", and here are some info from the company that sells it here in spain:

This is the other VK/SDG plant, both have been a little stressed and they grew too tall, so I took all the clones i could take leaving one, then i'm making new mothers, and the rest of the old mothers are going outside in the ground..

This is my BC # 2, it's bagseed of what's supposed to be Blue Cheese.. I got a bag full of these from my friend, he found it in his BC buds, and i love bagseeds and germed 50 of them.. Then, long story short, I found one that out matched the others in the categories I like.. I thought this was a father plant at first, but it turned out to be a girl, so this is my 2 mother of the BC bagseeds.

Update..!

Here are some updated pics of my plants outside.. Everyone is put in 3 liter containers..

These have been outside for a month now, as you can see, the two that are yellowing now are about three weeks younger than the bigger clone in the background.. The bigger one has just started flowering, and the others are just showing signs of female flowers..

No harvest today

Well it turned out it wasn't poker yesterday, and no harvest as well.. All the plants were broken of the stem.. Doesn't seem like it was people, more like an animal that has chewed it down.. First loss of the season, but hey, the season hasn't started yet anyways :D Putting up some pics of it, so you can decide yourself what's been happening..

Cab Update..!!

Hiiiigh everybody:wave:

This weekend I finished my new closet, i still don't have any electric tools, so I've done all this by hand, and my hands are killing me now haha :)

I've germinated some of my white dwarf seeds, basically it's just My best White dwarf mom and dad crossed together.. I call it "Rudy" :tiphat: The reason why i called it that is funny, but i was thinking, hey it's a ruderalis, and my uncles name is Rudi so that's the reason really :P They have not sprouted yet..

I've only put on humidity domes on the clones in the cabinet.. And the mums are doing great since last week.. That's the only new thing about the cabs.. The closet was a pain in the ass to build..!! I did it wrong the first time, got it together but could not get in the bedroom, had to take it apart and do it again, again, my hands are killing me :P Now everything is on place, except some items i really need to get the lab perfect, like for example, install fans, weather stripping, filters etc.. But i've done this with minimum money and with equipment i've had from before, and i'm gonna continue that way.. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask :)

Small update:

The plants have now been out with the others in the garden in maybe one and a half weeks .. The reason I did this was that they were a little overwatered with nutrients, they were a little too dark in their color, I thought .. And it was around 32-37 c degrees in the tent, my apartment is around 28-30 degrees, don't own an AC so it is difficult to bring down the temperature..

Now they look fine again, but they've been somewhere with a bit of low light so some have stretched themselves more than to flourish .. But all are now in bloom .. Semi autos actually starts to look good now, but they are still thin compared to the others ..

I found 4 Hermies in the auto plants, It was one that stood out and 3 others had a party with it..
Found 2 plants that had "converted" to boys hehe: P On top was the girl shoost, but at the very bottom it was only balls, I cut the whole thing for safety's sake..

All plants is now cleaned and sprayed and was put into the tent yesterday, the temperature is around 32 degrees now, the temperature has begun to get colder here now (finally) and the days get shorter ..

Of 6 purple Mazar regular auto seed, I got only one boy hehe,unlucky, when you want girls you get boys and vice versa: P It has been under less than 20 watts of light, it does not grow super fast under the lights, but it has finally begun to open the pollen sacks so I can start to take some pollen .. I have 5 autos I'll cross now .. A large auto NL that smells and looks great when, even with all the grasshoppers that have been on it .. One auto NL / Sweet tooth which has also been huge, auto nl / Sw started all slow and a bit small, but these are those who have been the prettiest, and I'm happy because I was most intr in the auto SW .. I have two purple Mazar standing with the boy in two liter pots, only gonna be crossed to get a few extra seeds.. I still have two PM seeds that I can start later .. Also have an auto maxi gum x LR is rally nice looking and should be crossed later

All regular seed that has been left out in the garden is good too .. I have five plants that have been in two liter pots throughout the summer, they have begun to flower and begun to turn yellow due to small pot, but they have managed very well..

As I have mentioned we were going to throw all the seeds in the spring that had not sprouted, but instead my girlfriend threw them in a large rectangular 20 liter pot .. Three of them came out of the soil and has gone wild, they are almost finished now .. There are two different phenotypes in the pot .. The biggest, I bent down with LST and the branch has been beside the pot and all small popcorn buds have grown large instead cutting them off :)

Sorry for lack of posts here.. I've lost my camera and I know that everyone likes update with photos

Anyways, I'm still working on stuff, and only autos.. I've been testing some strains for a Spanish seedbank lately, I got a job as tester/breeder atm woop woop! I was supposed to go to Spannabis with them, but I have to move instead :P
Anyways, thought I should show you some photos of my new autos! I have crossed these as well with my purple mazar pollen form last run..

So now I'm waiting on seeds that are: pm x auto critical, pm x auto maxi gom and pm x auto skunk! 2012 is gonna be a BIIIG year for me, I have everything planned out this year! I'm gonna update here as well, just not so much like before..

I'm working on my old website again, Juana Magazine.. It was one of the biggest norwegian online sources for cannabis news, but we had some technical issues later on so we had to put it down..

Now I'm working on a new one, just now it is international news, and not only for norwegian people.. I have used the old design and just working a little with it now.. I hope that it will have it own server and hosting in about a month, I have to move before I take this project further
