Looks like diacedous earth (I think I'm spelling that wrong) it's for stopping crawling insects like mites

They look pretty solid. You might have a magnesium deficiency creeping up on you with the plant in the first picture but other than that no issues. Just don't spray anything with neem on your flowers or you'll end up smoking it.
