The main reason is because of what the plants are eating during different phases of their lives. First off, you NEVER want to chase PH in Hempy but... with that being said, just loosely follow this. 5.8 PH when they're vegging in Hempy and then 6.0 during the first two weeks of flower and then to 6.2 - 6.5 during mid flower until the end is normal and standard for maximum output. PH drops like a ROCK at end of flower in Hempy so if you're continuing to PH at 5.8 six weeks into flowering for every feed, it will quickly get down to 4.5 PH within 12 - 24 hours with Hempy and you don't want that. Just a heads up.
