Hi I have 4x4 T5 FLORESCENT that I need to repair. 3 sockets work fine one at a time, and the fourth one lights the bulb a bit but only like half power.

With 2 bulbs in, they both light equally or one lights and the other doesn't.

With 3 in, 2 are fully lit and 1 is half lit.

With all 4 bulbs in it lights up only 1 or 2 fully and the others are either off or half or barely lit.

I have brand new bulbs. What should I look for to find what the problem is? Maybe some sort of wiring issue or messed up socket ballast thingy?

The only one that does not fully work is the one closest to the switches. This may be causing the issue, what can I do?

Is the ballast rated to run 4 tubes of that wattage? Sounds like the ballast is underpowered or possibly worn out.

well if its always the same socket that fails then i would exclude the ballast....
Have u switched place of the bulbs to double check if the new bulb is faulty?
maybe the white socket that holds the bulb in place has some wiring issue or broken given the fact that they are small little piece of plastic!
good luck!
