**First off, sorry if this has already been posted/covered. If so please provide a link or something as I'm genuinely curious about topic above! And second, sorry for making such long questions.. not intentional I swear lol**
So long story short, got a case alf aphids and such, first time since starting this wicked awesome hobby lol. Didn't pay enough attention when bringing in a clone from a friend, and now month or so later, aphids everywhere. So, started with dish soap and just water mixed as a foliar spray. Made some progress.. then tried dish soap and cooking oil mixed with water. And am also seeing a huge decrease! And just to add some background info.. always sprayed plant, and then either let drip dry or would spray little before lights out. Always avoided direct light afterwards. Have been trimming throughout to help fight infestation. But went out and got some Neem oil to help as well. But am genuinely curious which would be more beneficial in this instance(just pests, no sort of mold or anything like that) Neem oil or Insecticidal Soap? As crazy as it probably sounds(after spraying just regular ol cooking oil and dish soap..) I'm somewhat nervous about the Neem oil, as I've read and seen quite a few cases where it ended up killing the plant entirely.. granted, some were results of not shaking bottle, or being put in light right after spraying, etc.. Just wicked nervous about losing this plant, since I no longer have clones or seeds for this particular strain anymore. Is there a certain method people use with the Neem oil? I.e. wipe clean after, spray down after, let sit for few hours/days. Again, sorry for bringing up a topic I'm sure has been brought up tons of times. Just really looking for specific details on the comparison and also process, so I can avoid hurting the plant in any way. Thanks in advance!!
