Fox farms happy frog soil.
No nutes.
Tap water and ph is 7.6...
Have noticed leaves beginning to curl and slight discoloration under leaves. What do you think?
Thank you for your help!

Just let it be. water and light for now til a few sets of true leaves. Have a few popping like that. No big deal for me. Looks normal essentially. They can be randomly weird when young.

edit: forgot to add temps. Make sure temps are good :)

I’m a little worried.
I started them all outside because my tent wasn’t here yet and there was a 48 hour period when they were germinating when the soil was too wet... the days weren’t hot enough here.
When I first brought them into the tent on Monday everything seemed normal, then I watered them with COLD WATER (which now I know is a big no no) and since then they’ve been looking a little funky. I just really hope I don’t have root rot at this early of their life. I’m still waiting on feminized seeds from ILGM and was hoping to have these outside by the time I pop the new seeds. Worried they won’t make it now though 😔

What genetics are they? I know anything with Blueberry lineage could have leaf deformation on seedlings.

Dynasty Huckleberry, Vision, sunset sherbert and lemon meringue... there’s a couple bag seeds in there too that I popped. An ice cream cake and 2 apple fritters.

It will most likely grow out of that, it's just struggling a bit, nothing to worry about IMO

Wellll....
They look alright but more leaves are curling up like a taco shape.
Has anybody else had this problem before?
I’m running a SF4000 led light, happy frog soil... and my ph is at 7.6 which is way too high but am waiting on my ph up/down right now from the mail.

I’ve used Happy Frog for seedlings, its hot in nitrogen i think. Add a little too much water and the leaves curl. I would suggest watering from the bottom since you have the tray. Just a couple minutes soak, it will help keep the top soil dry.

Well here we are at a week.
They all look good to me. The picture with mostly dirt was one week ago today.
the first set of leaves on most of them are still turning into that taco shape which is sort of worrisome but the new set of leaves look much better.
I still think they might have taco’d because of overwatering so I let them really dry out until today before I watered them again. And this time I see my ph kit and had everything at 6.3.
what are y’all’s thoughts?

what’s goin on!!!!
I moved the light up to over 30” above the plants. There’s a few that are at 10 days and the rest are a week old.
Some of the bottom leaves are turning a little yellow... I think because of that stress from a few days ago. Maybe caused by light too close, cold feeding water.. i still don’t know. New to this just sort of riding the wave right now.
I fed them today (nitrogen) for the first time. Ppm going in was 234 but coming out the bottom of the pot in the fox farm happy frog soil, it was nearly 800. Ph was right above 6. Hoping to ease on into them on the nutes. I fed them a quarter of what was called for on the bottle.
Any advice here would be awesome!
Thank you!

Wouldn’t hurt to get them off the floor. I dunno if it’s cold or not but it’s usually a little cooler then air temp. If your in a basement or on concrete its way colder. Also get a lux meter app on your phone so you know how high exactly to put light. 5-10k for seedlings

Any idea what’s up with the yellow leaves?
Could it be nitrogen deficiency or you think it’s more than likely stress from early life?

If I had to guess I’d say the soil burned them a little bit. Looks like they are growing out of it fine though. Make sure not to over water. Any damage to leaves will stay that way. Check new growth.

Fresh Happy Frog is pretty hot, which bottle recommends feeding seedlings?
Edit: this bottles not really clear but i take the 2 weeks to mean after transplant.
