I'm going to post here because I would like maybe some reassurance of what I am doing right and what I am doing wrong. Any and all comments are appreciated.
Grow Setup:
This is when I noticed growth was too slow and I had too skinny of stalks for this week. Increased light schedule to 24 and lowered it to get better growth. Started LST to strengthen branches. I reduce watering schedules to 4 days in between.
Grow Setup:
- 5 plants (3) 5 gallon (2) 7 gallon Gowers Choice GG
- FF Ocean forest/ Happy Frog 70/30 Happy Frog dries faster
- 350 watt Vivosun LED
- RH 40-50% average +/-5% occasionally
- Purified Store Water
- 1 fan
- 6x6 closet grow
- FF trio
- Botinacare Cal/Mag
- 13 essentials Foilar with Silica
- Soak over night in paper towel
- drop in 1" deep in a pocket of Happy frog placed in soil ( not to burn seeds with something too hot)
- broke tip on one dropped on floor (1) in 7 gallon pot. Didn't record the plant (next time will number plants)
- water directly on seed
- Dropped seed never sprouted :(

- Water directly at stalk base
- no nutes
- mist water
- Results
- Seedlings all sprout over a week at different days
- Look healthy (no signs of stress) Nice green leaves
- a little leggy (skinny stalk)
- slow growth
- What I should change:
- water in circle around plant not at stalk base
- lower light reduce skinny stalk and increase growth rate

- Water in circle around plant
- Foliar feed 13 essentials, Cal/Mag and FF trio based on directions no reduction for auto's
- Cal/Mag smallest dose per gallon every other water
- Grow Big & Big Bloom smallest dose per gallon every other water
- Results
- Seedlings all sprout over a week at different days
- Look healthy (no signs of stress) Nice green leaves
- a little leggy (skinny stalk)
- LST showing strengthening stalk however (healed tears overnight)
- Faster Growth better fan leaves, fresh stalk
- Pistols are forming on (4) plants
- Purple Fan stems, stalk is green
- What I should change:
- LST sooner (if plants weren't skinny)
- Lower light reduce skinny stalk and increase growth rate

- Keep LEDs Lower from beginning
- Dont water as much
- Dont drop a seed haha
- LST sooner if possible
- Maybe switch to coco/perlite for more aeration annd watering
- Less medium in pots (we'll see at the end of the grow)
- Week 4 is my current stage
