Hi, im needing some advice.
Its my first grow, germination went perfectly in batmix, but since cotyledon opened and first leaves appeared they where curled downwards.
From research im leaning towards over watered but not sure.
Temps are 23/24 with lights on 17/18 with them off
Humidity averaging 65%
VPD in good range
LED lights
Measuring a PAR of 120 at canopy

Any ideas?
Thanks

nothing looks wrong .. hard part is to leave them be for a while .. dont need feeding or water every day .. just let them chill and grow for a week or two

If you're fidgety, spritz with plain water as long as you can vent the humidity. It essentially does nothing but let you do "a thing" so you don't over water.

I suggest you change to using an eye dropper for watering at this young age and put your water into the soil away from the stem. Soil should be moist, not wet. That advice should be updated. Better to say soil should be dry but not completely dry. 🤣

I have not ever, three times, watered around the soil in such a way as it ran straight down everywhere but on the main roots.

Right now, your seedlings look normal.

How deep is the container your seedlings are in? When cannabis grows, the tap root wants to shoot down deep and if the container isn't deep enough, the tap root will curl at the bottom of the container and growth will stall until the situation is corrected. Your container looks like its for seedling pods like peat pellets or rapid rooter/root riot cubes. This won't kill your grow but it is something to consider next time ... A deep container and preferably one that is not clear. The roots really prefer darkness.

This was just a general advice response to be careful not to overwater and how to avoid damping off of your seedling. Looks healthy, soil just looks a little damp is all. Leaves curling, clawing or hooking down can mean different things but the most common is too wet.

Mea culpa I thought I was replying to the OP. So if you're getting any water at all pooling on the dirt or moving to another spot from where you put it, you are either watering too quickly or you allowed your soil to get dry enough to become "hydrophobic." Make sure your top layer is loose by regularly scratching the surface. This will help keep the top layer from repelling water at first (hydrophobic). Then when you water, put it in very slowly and evenly around the drip line. From there, in the soil, the water will wicker outward and inward for a more desirable soil moisture (less wet) in those critical soil spaces. The root ball itself tends to hold onto the moisture it finds, which is why you don't need to water any further in to the plant from the drip line.

Edit: I've kind of moved to general watering here and not seedlings but same principle, put water in where you think the outer tips of the roots of the seedling are. When it's those small cups it's just kind of outer. Don't mind my rambling, smoked a Sativa for lunch... 🤣

Thanks guys for all your helpful comments.
They straightened up great over a couple of days. Slightly slow growth I think but will see how they do
I definitely think I chose wrong kind of container for germination in soil.

Oh and im using pro7 batmix with worm castings is this ok for young plants? Im getting some yellowing in the new growth area. Im thinking might be too hot for them?
Ph is 6.7, dechlorinated, ive calmed down on watering waiting til almost dry. Temps and humidity are good. Vpd almost perfect 90% of time.
I check my ppfd dli and lux on an app.
Thinking its most likely the soil 🤷‍♀️
