llo everyone! I’m a newbie grower, for the first time in over 45 years. The other times were outside, or in a closet with an old fashion grow bulb.

This time after reading a lot off this site and others, decided to give it a try.

Will try and give you some background of who, what, when, and why. The wife and I moved from Colorado to Florida last year, I’m retired, and she is still working for four more years. So, we got used to just buying our gummies from a dispensary, we all know that Florida is medical only, and we did not feel like paying $300+ for a card. We still have son in Colorado, who made a road trip down here this last Jan. to visit us, and resupply us with some gummies, well that lasted only so long. So, I decided to start growing our own.

So, I ordered some seeds from Pacific Seed Bank

Blueberry Kush started at the end of July

Well, it started out good but, I learned that I need more experience at growing, before I try auto-flowering plants again. So, 2 weeks later I ordered some more seeds, and this time I think I got it right.

Chocolate Kush Started in August

So, the pictures that I’m posting are from my two Chocolate Kush plants. I started out thinking I could grow my plants outside. But I learned that was a lot harder to do in Florida, so I get on Amazon and get a so-called cheap grow tent set up.

IPOW Grow Tent Kit Complete System 2x2 ft LED Grow Light Dimmable Full Spectrum Indoor Grow Tent Kit 24"x24"x55" Hydroponics Grow Tent with 4 Inch Ventilation Kit

It’s ok but now I know I needed a larger one (The 55” height did not work) As I wright this I have a Black Friday Deal 丨2024 Upgrade Spider Farmer® 2’x4’ Complete Grow Tent Kit丨SF2000 301H EVO Full Spectrum LED Grow Light丨6” Clip Fan丨4” Ventilation System with Temperature and Humidity Controller coming to me.

So today is 7 weeks since I flipped to 12hr / 12hr

During their growth I feed them Foxfarm Grow Big plant food 6-4-4 2 liters a week, and 2 liters of water a week.

Now while flowering I have feed them Big Bud 0-1-3 2 liters a week, and 2 liters of water a week. The last time I feed them was a week ago and watered them yesterday with 2 liters of water.
The ph for the soil has been 6.5 for the majority of the grow, except last week it went to 7.0 the water is tap water that is filtered.

I know I have fertilizer tip burn, everything else seems to be ok.

Soil is Fox Farm Happy Frog

What I need help with is this, should I stop with the Big Bud, and just water the next 2-3 weeks, and am I at 6 weeks or 7 weeks now?

And I appreciate all the help!

I don't use those nutrients, so maybe someone who does will see this. I don't think I'd stop the nutrients yet, though.

I don't pay attention to the number of weeks. Your buds look like they have at least two weeks left, and maybe more. I'm judging that based on the look of the pistils. Most of them -- say, 80% or so -- should be orange when you harvest. Many use a jeweler's loupe to look at the trichomes on the buds (not the leaves). They should be mostly cloudy looking, with a few an amber color. If most are clear, the buds aren't ready.

Thank You All! for all your input. I have the jeweler's loupe, and inspect them every day, I also have the feeding chart and been following it. I was thinking sometime and the end of December, they would be ready. 😊

Congrats! Good looking grow! I'm in Oklahoma and it's a medical state only. Rec got voted down. So if your caught growing now without a card it's worse than it was in the mid 1980's when I got busted for growing. More draconian. And it was bad then. So I've had my medical card for several years now. And I bet Fl. can get hard on folks also with a grow going. I know it sucks,,, but one of you should get your card. Going through the meat grinder courts when you have a legal way out is a good thing. Enjoy your grow!!!!

Good advice! I’ve seen plenty of times on on patrol live in Florida, where they ask if the person has a medical card! So it does make a difference!
