new hydro setup with rockwool slabs

i have 4in thick 6in deep by 4ft long rockwool slabs how much water in the rez? 3gallons run 2min 3 times a day is what i expect but experience speaks novels plz help thanx

A good rule for recirculating is to do 2 gallons per plant in rockwool. Drain to waste, your only really limitation on res size is how often you want to change it.
