Due to some circumstances I had to leave my plants in veg for 7 weeks vs 3-4 week which caused my plants to be almost twice the size as I normally would have them before flowering, I feed very conservatively I keep my temperature and humidity in check I keep my power down and my lights high gradually increasing them I’m thinking my issue is from growing in 1 gallon pots in the plant getting too big then once it hits the flowering stretch point I noticed it happening about two weeks into flower. PH spot on my EC is about 1.6 with feeding my flush pH is spot on I always feed to flush with soil ‘50/50 topsoil and perlite, to prevent buildup Any suggestions or experience with this would be greatly appreciated I cut open one of the pots to examine the root ball and it’s pretty much a mass of roots in the 1gallon soft pot, pictures included. Cheers
Kinda difficult to tell from the pics without more info on strain, nutrients used etc. Since you mentioned you're growing these in 1 gallon pots is it safe to say you're watering every day? One possible cause for this could be overwatering, which if you're watering every day could be something to check. Generally the plant does best when it has a wet/dry cycle. If it's in a 1 gallon pot and you're watering it every day you may not be giving it the cycle it wants to perform better. If the roots are generally kept wet from overwatering there's less oxygen in the root zone as well. I also notice some
You mention a lot of things you're doing there. That mass of roots is likely due to the cloth pot which is what it's designed for so the good root ball is a good sign. Unfortunately growing a plant to it's mature size in such a small pot is going to present challenges.
Again, not knowing the strain etc. I would say this about it in general, the plant itself from the pics appears weak. I may have missed what week of flower you're in but it looks like it's past a week. The trunk appears somewhat thin and there's some red veining you're getting there that could be genetic or it could be from light or nutrient stress. Just guesses.
At any rate, without more info I'd have to say it's a watering issue. It appears to only be happening on new growth and there doesn't appear to be a toxicity issue with nitrogen. If you are feeding too much nitrogen you should be seeing some darkened green leaves along with the clawing. Nitrogen is one of those nutrients the plant will continue to uptake and store regardless if it needs it.

A one gallon pot is FAR too small to be growing cannabis. The smallest you could get away with IMHO is a 3 gallon is you are using an auto flower.
