Yes ......use the back of the hand method hold your hand above the plant about a half inch and feel the light on the back of your hand if it feels warm or look warm it's perfect if it feels hot or you have to pull your hand away your lights too close
Make sure you have a light blowing fan wiggling your plants then when he does it keep the cool provide error circulation but with them babies light fan enough to make them wiggle a little will bills strong stems in plants and give them for when they start holding them heavy colas and buds in flower Happy farming we're just a light blowing fan enough to make them little babies wiggle a little bit

I have a small fan in the closet that's always on.

What I recommend is get a few thing and they are going to make your environment 100x more easy to manage and achieve success .

Leds temps 80f-86f
C02 900-1500 if you can since your not sealed , look for the future
25%+ nutes over hps, always watch the plants demands!

1.first is you need to know your grow rooms everyday temps, from the floor to the canopy temps ( and if it’s differnet or you have hot spots you need to know ). I worked a shit ton and made my 17 wide x 32 long room perfect even from where the a/c side to the end is only 1-2 degree difference and the floor to the roof is only 1-2 degrees differences. It took a lot of work but also a lot of factors to make that work so well. Point is if your just trying to blind side your temps even with a temp controller and humidity probe and even have a d ew of them in the room. It def can be in accurate and when you have a infrared gun and can check temps so quickly and just log it ( hell I was logging it in the beginning on a pice of paper everyday till I got it done )

Example , there’s tons of models on amazon and you cans get a good one for 10-25 bucks easy!
Infrared Thermometer, Helect Non-Contact Digital Laser Infrared Thermometer Temperature Gun -58°F to 1022°F (-50°C to 550°C) with LCD Display https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071NBJJ2Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_n46UDb3CJP9Q1

Next tip is get ethier get a pulse environment controller or if you want a cheaper route: buy multiple temperature +humidity probe and place them on the wall and one or two on your canopy and min/max them everyday and log it or at least check it and see if your getting proper environment %. remember environment is 30% of end result and if you can’t control that that’s why you have bad res;t or bad yields ...

2. Do you use a measure how many inches you are under that canopy? What I would always recommend is follow the led recommend ( if you can dim in the beginning that’s the key so the plant can get adjusted, just like putting a plant outside you gotta let it get use to it) than after following the is Instructions I would buy a mid range par meter and use that as a key to help you know your strengeth’s of your light . I can run my lights at 1-2f under the canopy but the light stress is what gets em so I have distance requirements to make it work without having any stress .

3. for issue on preamended soil you don’t want and that’s way too strong = what I would recommend right when you see roots on your bottom of your pots, uppot to new soil that’s non fertilized in that matter. Buy organic super soiled or just feed it yourself. if you want to even top feed dry feed only and keep it simple with only 2-4 things and have to switch during bloom try Roots organic uprising grow/bloom and terp grow/bloom

That’s just 3 tips for ya, I could go on forever ;)

Day 21 Number 1 keeps taking long to recover:/. Number 2 looking healthy. I think I like fimming more than topping just because of what's happening.

Nice bro. You'll get great help here from the guys. They have helped me turn my plants around big time. My plants looked like shit. Now they doing pretty good. But I still got plenty to learn.
