New to hydro - having problems PLEASE HALP

Hi All!

Been doing this for years but in soil, finally made the decision to switch over to hydro but having crazy problems, clones are wilting/dying

Took clones from healthy veg mothers in soil, aeroponic cloned perfectly all healthy and long roots, 2 week old clones and been in the wilma hydro sys for 3 days

I washed the clay pebbles before use, got the res tank sitting at 1.2-1.4 EC, Ph 6.1-2 not drip dripper but flood drippers with canna nutes following their chart, feeding twice a day 15 mins ( just looked up and have now up'd the feed to 4-5 15 mins feed a day as think this may be it?), Wilma 16x11L sys

I had an emergency so had to leave them alone for their first day sadly so didn't monitor amazing, but I've come back and they're all wilting/dead

Any ideas what's going on/wrong here?
Thinking of starting again if they're too dead, taking clones but want to make sure prep right so doesn't happen again

Your doing flood and drain? That high of an ec is normal in flower but those look like 2 week plants

Did the ppm drop or fall last few days? Or did you just decide to go 1.6

And how does the water work do you use the same one or do you flood with a new mix every time?
Are you sterilising the water?

I was originally going to do drip whole day while lights on but I put the wrong dripper ends on and they're the flood ones, so drip system but with the black drippers flooding 2 times a day (now putting to 4-5 to try revive some of them. EC is at 1.2-1.4 flowing the nutes from canna-uk.com/growguide , ppm has not dropped stayed same for now. 2 week old clones, in hydro clay system for 3 days

Agreed that EC is too high for clones. For me, I'd be about .8 to 1.0 EC max.

Not the cause... Looks like they just died of thirst, as you alluded to. Not sure if you can bring em back, but maybe prop them up and support them, a light misting a time or three throughout the day in addition to a good irrigation schedule and maybe, just maybe!

I was pointing out the high EC in case they recover or for if/when you start new ones.

I'm going the opposite way... Lots of hydro and now going back to soil. šŸ¤Ŗ

Ok thanks ill give it a try before i give up on them and restart, and ok ill keep eye on, out of curious why going back to soil from hydro?

Anyone have a clue why canna-uk.com/growguide canna - > aqua -> any litre is showing 1.3 EC at the start? i see around alot that 0.8-1.1 is optimal. Have added plain p.h'd water to res and put back down to 1 - 1.1 EC for now

haha I have the opposite too much soul and pain right now trying to relive some good luck! So water 4-5 times a day with lights on and lower EC should work

Lots wrong with this . First your drippers aren't pushed in far enough. 2nd your EC is far 2 high . Also if u used an aeroponic to root and have not used rockwell and put the clone straight into the system you should be feeding for 15min every 2 hrs . Humidity should be 60-70% and light a good distance away . I grow in a 4 pot upgraded wilma system in clay pebbles. I would start again. If u need any help give me a shout
