Need to know more of the details of your grow to be able to suggest much.

Looks like you're in coco and pearlight? What kind of light, size of tent, water source, ph/tds pens?, type of nutrients etc.

They look good.

My only suggestion off hand is to try and leave a more leaves for longer. They look kinda naked, plus, they use them to grow. Just take the ones directly covering growth or bud sites (or dead ones of coarse). Some will disagree with this...

Oh, welcome to the Farm! Happy growing!

The seed was planted on 16th of June, they have been in veg for 4-5 weeks.

I am using coco.

The light is 600w, 1.4x1.4 (same size as tent)

I use tap water but PH test everything to between 6&6.5.

I use tri part neutrient with calmag every 7 days. I have a root development I give inbertween feeding.
So in short, neut with cal mag day1/ plain water day3 later / root booster day5 later / plain water day7 later.

Dude, June 16th was only 17 days ago, not 4-5 weeks. Plants start as seedlings for 1-14 days, then veg begins. Your math doesn't add up. Also if they were planted on 6/16, they wouldn't have broken ground for 2 or 3 days... You sure you didn't plant on 5/16?

Coco should be fed (less) every watering, it has zero nutrients of it's own. What you're doing is feeding them one day, then spending 6 or 7 days effectively rinsing the nutes you just put in, back out.

This is just my opinion, I'm curious what coco growers have to say. I grow in rockwool which is a little different.

Yeah sorry dude, meant may. 05/16.

So am I meant to steadily give them the nutrients? I thought i would wait until i have sufficient dry back prior to watering?

So I give them nutrients then wait until pot is really light (moisture is used by plant) before watering?

I'll try and get a coco grower to jump in, maybe @PlumberSoCal2

But yes, nutrients every wavering (when they get bigger it'll prolly be every day)
This may be why they seem small to you.

Coco doesn't use the same dry-back as soil. If coco dries out too
much it becomes hydrophobic and will actually repel water.

Sounds like the OP is treating Coco like soil, when they are two very different animals! I think Coco needs to be watered every day and sometimes multiple waterings! Do some research on watering and feeding Coco! Just two cents!

You're off to a great start! At week 5 of veg, your plants look healthy and well-managed. The LST and thinning you’ve done are smart moves to open up the canopy and encourage strong growth. Just give them a few days to recover before doing more training. Keep adjusting your ties to maintain an even spread, and avoid over-defoliating during veg. You're getting close to flip time—around weeks 6 to 8—so watch for healthy structure and strong growth. Overall, your setup is clean, your plants are happy, and you're definitely on the right track. Keep it up!

Thanks for the advice everyone! It’s reassured me that I’m doing some things right!

I would love to hear more about the watering/feeding with coco? I feel as I’ve been doing the right thing as I’m not getting many indications of deficiency or lock out…

George, thanks for the thoughts. I plan on doing no more trimming now…. You think I should do a bit more later on? I have been tightening the ties every day or so, there not far off where I want them I think!

How tall give or take should plants be before flipping the times? I was aiming for about 2-3 foot? (About 1m) is this to much?

Just to follow up on your advice regarding feeding, I spoke with the guys at my local shops and it looks like you was right. They advised to feed every time I water pretty much.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention before having any big problems!

When through the replies and it seems someone has already noticed the 4-5weeks error so I won't talk on that.

So here's my observation;

First off the plants appear to be a good size and have healthy, green foliage, which is a positive sign.

I'll advise you make sure you're keeping an eye on the humidity levels in your grow tent. It can really affect growth and prevent problems later on. It's also useful in your vegetative stage to check the temperature.

° Lighting: It is important to be mindful of where your light sources are coming from

° Nutrient: I recommend following a nutrient regimen that works best for your vegetative state.(Someone already talked on this and you confirmed it so follow that).

Honestly, though, you're off to a great start! Just keep researching and paying attention to your plants, and you'll do just fine. Let me know if you have any other questions, and I'll do my best to help (or point you in the righ
t direction)!

Flip when plants are ⅓–½ your final desired height.
