This is what is causing the withering pistils. You're misting your plant. Once a plant is in flower, you really want to keep it dry. Stop with the misting. You can create a host of issues with wet flowering plant tissue under lights (or out in the sun).
Yeah I stopped that immediately when someone else told me about that earlier on so I haven't been doing that lately no more mist

That's correct. It could mean something but usually means nothing. If you have other issues going on with it like funky looking leaves, wilting, signs of munching then I would be more concerned. At this point, simply keep an eye on things. If other parts of your grow are going sideways, we will need to take another look. I don't see enough of your plant to know its over-all condition. I do see the leaves that are close to the flowers where the pistils are beginning to wither. If you can post 2 more pictures, It would be extremely helpful. Please post a picture from the side showing the whole plant and from the top looking down and showing the whole plant. I will have a lot more to work with in seeing if you are having any other problems.

You're on the right path. Next time maybe leave a bit more green on the tree. Defoliation is a heavily divided topic so someone else will certainly tell you to pretty much strip your plant bare. Let's back up and think about it for a moment. Your leaves are the solar panels that actually provides the energy that makes your plants grow. You can remove leaves for air flow ... but in your case, it looks like you removed every fan leaf from the plant. Here's what happens when you do that ... your plants replace those leaves where it can ... in the actual flower. Over-defoliation leads to leafier buds. Do defoliate. Don't take it so far next time.

I knew it I knew it I knew it I knew it I'm kicking myself in the butt right now for listening to someone else not on this website a friend in person. I legit thought the same thing that the leaves are how the plant does the photosynthesis how it converts the sunlight into energy which then in turn grows the plant bigger stronger. Lesson learned. I really appreciate you guys helping me out with all this. Going through the forums here there's some pretty knowledgeable people who know their stuff.

Absolutely. I've seen postings from @Grownsince95, @Oldchucky, @GNick55 for starters. If they say something, its probably good you follow their advice. There's others too. I have not been on this site very long yet so I don't know all the ones who know what they are talking about.

However, still be careful. There's people who think they more than they do and will give you bad advice. So if it doesn't sound just right ... ask someone else. The knowledge is here so ask away.

Logic, reason, and intuition will take you far.

Yeah people go way too far with defoliating and pruning among other things lol. unless its the last week or two of flower no need to defoliate. Less is always more. If you over prune it will dramatically stunt the growth of a plant and cause all kinds of other issues like root shed, Defoliating just messes up the plants metabolism. Unless your isolating a fungus or bugs leave the leaves.

Hello everyone, as the title suggests I'm newer to this and any and all tips and tricks would be great. I've got a couple what I believe to be of the Runtz strain plants and Ive topped both of them unfortunately one of the tops fell victim to my cat who loves the stuff as much as I do 🤣🤣. Anyway the other top I just took and stuck straight into the ground and now my hairs have turned like it's ready to be harvested. Does this mean the top is no longer going to take and I'm just waiting my time trying to nurture it back to life lol? I'm uploading a few pictures of what Im currently dealing with so any and all feedback /constructive criticism etc will be appreciated. Also I'm doing everything in soil for now, when I'm more familiar I will beging a hydro setup
Looks like u're already in the flowering stage and you don't want to top in that stage. The tips won't root anyway. You need to clone with an established stem. Cut it at a sharp angle and use rock wool at the minimum to get it to root.

Hey everyone just a little update. Been on a new watering schedule allowing the water to sit for 24hrs prior to application to allow chlorine to gas off as much as possible. I've completely stopped the misting and other than that there's not much else to report so I'm just gonna add a couple photos. I definitely have some ideas for my next round though to make it even bigger and better.

So I am almost certain that this plant is a photo it is showing signs of fresh vegetative growth the weather around here has been a little crappy where I haven't been getting the 12 hours of sunlight as usual and this started happening. Now that the weather has improved is it going to revert back to its flowering phase again and not harm the plant?
