Hi all. First time here, green to growing cannibis seeds. Short version: Bought some feminized photo seeds online & germinated 11 out of 11. They are about 5 days old & I'm already questioning my judgement on why th I had to germinate them all. Lol Is this a lot for a 1st timer? A bathroom is being used as a grow room, I have 3 60watt LED grow lights, a humidifier, potted in miracle grow moisture control potting mix & conditions have been fairly consistent with temps from 68-78, RH 55-75 via a smart hygrometer/thermometer. Anyone in the Nashville/Franklin area to call on for tips? Lol One baby has cotyledon leaves pointing up. Is this due to too much light? I raised the lights a few inches jic. These seeds are OG Kush (5), Special Kush (3), and Royal Gorilla (3). I'm so new to this I dont even know what to expect yet. I'm reading & following tips/advice etc. Is 11 too much to handle?

P.S. The bigger green plant closet to me is just a regular plant that needed some humidity.

K. You know what? I feel completely confused or inadequate to some of you who have all the lingo & fancy smancy equipment/setups that I cant help but chuckle a little at the complexity of it all. I mean, jeez louise, it's a freaking weed right? Imma gonna put my plants in some good dirt with my far-too-tiny growlights that will shine some facsimile of sun on them before hitting the off switch at dusk. I'm all for letting a weed be a weed. Yep, as most likely an occasional grower at best, the last thing I need to get myself stuck storing is a ton of gadgetry I've only used once or twice. Screw all that....ITS A WEED. Sun & water like they did 500 years ago 😂. I'll probably have the best dull or moldy weed in the country if it makes it to fruiting and you know what? I should win a damn award for letting a weed be a weed. Think I'll celebrate this decision with a good old beam-n-coke. I feel freer already keeping it simple. 👍🇺🇸

LOL yer a hoot🤣 my Pop was from Cooksville, Tenn. Your free to grow as you choose and it sounds like you aren't in it for the quality just seeing a grow. I grow outdoor here in Oregon and do a couple indoor runs during fall/winter. 4 plants is all i do. Yes i have a tent and a good light, i just run a fan on the outside of the tent to move the air around and leave the door flap open when lights are on.

Quality to most of us is far more important than dealing with multi plants without much knowledge on bringing out the best in the plant at least for myself it is. I don't run near as much techie stuff as alot of these growers do but sister have you seen the buds/plants they produce. It's a weed art gallery here of the finest looking grows i just love seeing and hearing about how they grow. I've done it for 40yrs and i never get tired of seeing the beautiful plants. It maybe just a "weed" but it takes a special human to bring out the best of this fantastic under used plant.

I'd say you took a big bite 😀

But, that doesn't mean your ass can't cash the big check your brain wrote! Tinkering gets you interested. You'll be sporting fancy shit in no time. Kind of like cars... First you throw on a 4 barrel, then decide you need a high-rise intake and headers. Next thing you know you've dropped in a cam, tossed on a blower, and a big spark ignition! A year later, you're trailering around your badass Nova to tracks like a pro. See where I'm going with this? Don't fuss at the guys and gals pulling 11 second quarters with their big block, short axle cars. They were under a shade tree with only a socket set, much like you're in the bathroom with your setup.

I ain't knocking ya, buddy... I'm just talking straight up. 🍻 Looks to be lots of help around here... Might as well take it if yer asking.

I would be inclined to drop the lights closer, or raise the plants up! To try and keep them from stretching too much! Stretching is when they grow tall and spindly trying to reach for more light! Can make them hard to manage. If you let them stretch too much, then they get top-heavy and want to fall over so you have to support them! It’s not the end of the world! Just two cents!

Thanks Gal & Bobcat. I do value quality & I bet there are some epic growers on here. I also enjoy readying about it all despite being blown away by all the science & ingenuity people come up with to enhance a fkn weed. Wish I had a good quality bud right now to contemplate it some more lol. I guess I'll settle for some over-dried dank homegrown whenever it's ready. Maybe, with my minimal skill knowledge & 66% effort, it'll atleast taste better than the stuff we'd pick in the Indiana corn fields back in college...during the middle of the night in the pouring rain 😂 I also think I should thin the herd at some point from a class D to a class E felony just in case, you know, since I couldn't find a 'delete post' option. lol. One of each variety (3) sounds far more manageable for a beginner to get her feet wet. Thanks again. And Bobcat, next year I'll probably have a greenhouse with a 360 degree lighting & HEPA/P2T20X sub-microbial cross ventilation system integrated into each 10 gal container, oh and some of that over-engineered soil Ive come across in some posts. My mind is always open.
