First time posting, Happy to find this forum (it was top rank on page 1 google search (congrats!)
seedlings 3-4 days in rockwool newly germinated and sprouting
lights 4 ft 6 lamp T5
5 different strains (jack herer, trainwreck, cinderella 99, Amnesia, Double Dream)
so while I did do a closet grow about 10 yrs ago, it was maybe beginners luck i got any plants out of that but this time I screwed up and scorched the plants with light too close and fan left off overnight so when the lights came back on in the morning, the temp at the plant level was a whopping 106f.. yeah i know.. i hang my head in shame
I have raised the lights up and reduced the intensity
So it doesn't look like they are completely dead but the initial growth of the sprouting came to a screeching halt and they look like they are just sitting there doing nothing.
I was wondering if they will recover. Some seem stronger than others. Is there a chance they could be permanently damaged and will remain weak and sickly?
Its first time growing in AZ and it does get hot here with low humidity. There is no central air in the house, just a swamp cooler so temps can reach into the 90s if it is 100+ outside which is not uncommon. Currently temps outside are in the 80s and the plants level temp shows 80-84f
Much appreciated for any experienced grower replies!
