The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently approved the cultivation of bioengineered hemp, known as Badger G, which has been genetically modified to increase levels of medicinal ingredients while reducing psychoactive compounds. The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) concluded that this enhanced hemp variety is unlikely to pose a greater plant pest risk compared to traditionally cultivated plants.

We most likely will keep the basics of the Farm Bill we have in the 2025 farm bill so that big business can sell weed in all it's forms such as Soda Pop and Candy items.. But growing the El Supremo at home? Make room in the Prison because they are still making money there too.

There is some excitement on the Stock-Price side with the reported comment of the possible forward movement in the Cannabis Industry.

First, my take on the Cannabis Stock-Value has been that there was fear in hardcore investors and selloff. I do not follow Stock-Market trends but I watch YouTube. I do think some have good reason to "pump" Cannabis Stocks.

So, What I got out of it is that the Federal Schedule will be allowed to stand like an old tortoise Shell. Strong but inside the tortoise is the actual shell of true liberty. So it takes the being legal at the same time it is illegal to Bill form. The first one I thought might have some fire with hardliner conservatives.
It's a guess what will happen and it only happens if Trump signs. I do believe we will never hear about these efforts again if Trump signals no. But I can't see the future.

Now My Opinion: To have a National and successful Participation with the Federal and State Cannabis Laws, we have to have Cannabis Freedom for each Citizen. That is where Success starts or Government loses the war every time. There is no way that the lack of Federal freedom leads to Federal freedom.

Now we sure made our bed with international treaties.
Harry Anslinger traveled the World, after getting all the States to sign on to Cannabis Prohibition, making anti-Cannabis treaties.

In my mind, this is where I doubt Trump will do anything except keep it isolated State by State: Changing our International treaties so we can legalize in USA, with us, being the ones that started it so to speak, well that would be a lot of work. It would upset a lot of Diplomacy I would believe.
