Ogkushes and purp question for sog

We all know that some strains are held back by genetics when it comes to yield. I figured that a high plant SOG is the only realistic way of getting around that.

But when I was growing GDP a few years ago. I remember the plants bushing out like crazy. I cant really picture putting 30-40 plants per light with that strain.

I never grown any of the OG kushes variants. but I also hear they are low yielding strains that arent as easy as the average.

Would like to get some feedback on anyone that has grown any purps or kushes in a hydro sog.

You prune plants for the SOG configuration/style so even normally bushy plants are not that away in SOG...

SOG, you basically flip in 7-10 days from clone and trim all lateral branching off, so that you are basically growing a bunch of single colas..

For SOG I like to pinch off the forming branches on the lower 1/3rd of the clone.
