Optic 1 vs HLG 65?

Looking to set up a 2x2 veg tent. Any experience with optic 1 or hlg65? I could do 1 qb288 diy for around same price. Seems like overkill?

I'd go with the HLG 65 to veg in a 2x2 area. HLG are about as efficient as lights get right now, you have to spend quite a bit more to take a step up. On the other hand if you want to spend the money you could get the qb288 and go with a 2x4 veg tent if you'd have a use for it.

HLG 65 will cover a 2x2 well, it's part of what I'm using for veg now.

I agree with this. I have a hlg65 in a 2x2 and it is perfect. You can leave it all the way up and it’s perfect. If fact, you want to keep it a ways above little seedlings as it can be too much for them.
