what's good y'all? I hope to hear what you guys have to say on the subject...

Myself and a partner are putting together an outdoor site we are still building and holy shit this is a lot of work(tip of the hat to those of you who have been doing it the hard way) but its starting to shape up

we're going to run a 12' x 36' as a light dep project 12 plants in 65 gal , and a 12' x 60' the good ol' fashion way with either 20 plants in 100 gal, or 10 in 200 gal

ill post some build/preview pics here shortly

we're in MI where some LEO feels there is grey areas to outdoor cultivation....(I know lame right) I would hate to see all our work get chopped on a technicality so my partner and I have been tossing around the idea of escorting LEO out to the spot in order to do a compliance check (as in does this meet your expectations of an (in-locked/en-closed facility)) before we plant, the idea is that later in the year when they start flying they will leave us alone...>>>?!?#?? but who knows maybe this will also make us an easier target to fuck with in the future what do you guys think?

Just my 2cents, before i did ANYTHING.

I would call and talk to the city council, mayor, police, code enforcement, fire department, etc.

Basically anyone who could make your life a living hell and see what the feel is overall with these people.

what hoops do they want you to juggle and jump through to comply with bs laws and stupid grey areas, blah blah(they just want tax money!)

C-Y-A cover yo ass

Ok so in michigan the law states locked enclosed facility, which is where a lot of growers mess up.. it also means out of view. Unless your going to grow smaol shrubs behind a 6 ft privacy fence covered in tarp. Out door growing in michigan is hard, cops will watch you till harvest time because they know outdoor plants yield 10x the amount of an indoor yield. So you chop 12 plants that size and up with 20 lbs your im trouble. Ive had plenty succes doing gorilla grows in the woods, 15 gallon pots scattered so when they fly over theres no pattern it just looks like the woods... but like I said its tough to grow in compliance with the medical marijuana act. Because ifnthe plants grow taller then 6 ft which they will your screwd unless you have a green house with shaded sides then your good.. hope that helped

You gotta be joking.....nothing is safe in Michigan it's a open collusion of Leo, judges, all law enforcement......Read Oscars posts........After your requested inspection....They will call ahead have you pulled over for BS ...promptly take a blood test then and there, suspend your drivers license , then steal your weed and fuck up your life. Wish it wasn't like this but it is.......

thus the current "legalization" trap....a classic "bait-n-switch."

How big is your actual feed pump? drippers work on low pressure, no more than 28psi and most work better at less than that.. I would put plants on 12' centers in 100 gallon smart pots..are you trenching 1-1/4" line, to top off your main tank? why bury your main tank? are you solar powering your light dep, top of pump, and your feed pump?

feed pump not sure yet still sizing things up(suggestions???) the 360* drip emitters I ordered stated their flow rates @ 22-25 psi, and I was thinking 1 dripper per 25 gallons of container and if I did 12 75 gallons in the light dep that would be 36 drippers....so ill probably have to split it into zones???

the 1 1/4" that needs to be trenched will be coming from a well source, then ran through the booster pump to my RO setup(growonix 1000 the higher the psi more efficiently it produces) then stored in the 550 which is why I buried it 75% of the way(was hoping this would keep it cooler?) we're going to use several 275 gallon totes above ground for mixing/brewing/watering

solar powering I wish.... maybe next year, good old fashion generators here

I plan on doing the same thing here in southeast Michigan once the laws get a little more friendly. My lawyer highly recommended not doing any outdoor until things change a bit.. When it happens I hope I can hit you up with some ??? @Sailfishdan !!!

what does he fear?

in-locked/en-closed, means it needs a roof needs to be fixed to the ground and needs to be securable....
plants can not visible from unaided eye on level ground by neighboring property.....
has to be located on a property that is owned, leased, or rented by the registered caregiver.....
harvest plants whole, until its dried and trimmed I don't see it as useable

am I missing something??

I would test your source water , R/O isn't always the best idea especially outdoors, you can save yourself a ton in gear and nutes if your baseline water is already decent.

have had the water tested ill post the print out, don't totally remember what the results were but I know its pretty high in iron and sulfur... my bluelab showed .8 EC I was hoping to mix well with the RO 50-50, how do you feel about that?

I would run that well water right where its at and not worry about cutting it with r/o at all...iron and sulfur are both good for outdoors action even in a little elevated levels..personally I think you would be wasting your time and money on the r/o system
