Hey all thought I would share my Buddies recipe for caramel corn. Careful though as it tastes great and if you eat too much like a 80 year old friend of mine did you will be in for a long night!
1. 3 quarts of unsalted popped popcorn
1 can of unsalted cashews
1 bag of pecan halves
1 cup of wheat germ
2. 1/2 cup brown sugar or substitute
3. 1/2 cup of M infused Bud'der
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
Spread out step one on baking pans and place in 250 degree oven while preparing step 2
in a sauce pan bring step 2 to a boil stirring constantly for 2 minutes, let boil 3 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat, stir in step 3 until well blended, then pour over the heated popcorn/nut mixture and blend wellhead 10 minutes, stir well, heat 1o minutes stir well, heat 10 minutes stir well.
Cool, break up and store in airtight containers or baggies. ~Enjoy in moderation and as Phat Larry would say be careful
