If you take clones in flower they're easier to look after for the duration of flowering and drying.

By the time the mums are ready they'll be re vegged, there's only 1ft of space and a cup of nutrient needed to maintain them to the point you know what you're keeping, if anything?

Hey bud, yes you're correct I'd normally take them wk3/4 when I'm clearing the lower shoots away nearing the end of the stretch phase, the longer you leave them the longer they take to re veg, recently I've been vegging with 12-12 but I'm taking the clones at roughly the same stage as when vegging them.Thank you for posting this! I was thinking of taking more clones of my skunks, and they are at day 16 of flower right now. My question is, when did you take those cuttings in the first picture? They look to be about day 20-30?
Do you "slow walk" the cuttings through re-veg and ongoing vegetative growth until your ready to flip them?

I took clones from "feminized" plants and since discovering that 2 of 5 femmes were hombres, I now have males amongst my clones and not sure which is which! I was lazy and didn't label them individually.

I'm glad i can help you bro, if you want you could take a small shoot from the clones/plants you're unsure about and put them/it into a glass of water then into 12-12 or 11-13 until they'll reveal their sex, they'll show you what they are without or before rooting normally assuming they're mature enough?That's good info because you can better time the re-veg to coincide with a tent becoming available for 12/12, for example.

I'm being long-winded and taking the long way round to my point, which is that now when I defoliate on day 21 of flower I'll root and re-veg them, and I'll know what I got when the donors are harvested. This is the way forward, I think for me regardless of cultivar or seed type. Well, except autos of course.

With a few runs you'll get the timing down nice!
An alternative is 4/6wks into your crop start new seeds to coincide and aim to flower your monster clones the next again crop that way there's no downtime waiting on plants to be ready etc.
