Insects ate my plant (see my other post). It did grow flowers along the main stalk so I wanted to ask a couple of questions. No more hairs seems to be coming out but I'm not sure, also the buds have a "strange"shape. It's northern lights automatic.

Should I throw it away or just try to cure it and see how it comes out? How much do you think I should wait?

Bonus question, I have this other plant which is getting ready, how much would you say it will need? It still has some white hairs.

Check the trichomes, when they are to your liking then harvest. You spent a couple months growing so why waste your time throwing it out? Only thing I can suggest is examine you kaelix for bug infestation and mites. If you plan on growing the same style next time, I would definitely look into beneficial bugs, organic pesticides. For somebody who doesn't have much experience with pesticides I always suggest Neem oil. I wouldn't spray your plant in the middle of the day when the sun is at its strongest because you run the risk of burning up your plant because you're really spraying oil all over The foliage, it can burn your leaves. Neem oil is also good for preventing mold as well. If you have a local hydroponics store nearby if you can visit them, they should be able to point you in the right direction for preventing infestations. But ultimately, when growing outdoors you're going to have bugs and other pests. It's the nature of the beast. I would say as long as your flower doesn't get bud rot or mildew or a might/bug infestation then I would definitely not ever throw them out. Just don't spray the flowers with any pesticide. Your ultimately going to be consuming pesticides.

Ditto, let them continue to see what happens. You still have leaves and some surface area for now on the chewed ones. Plants are pretty resilient and always surprise me with what they can withstand.
