Ok so i was pretty banged up and i was doing some work in my garden (famous last words!). I accedentally left the hose that fills my res running for about 5 hours:mad0233:. The room is not my actual flower room but an adjacent one. The room with the res has a drain and concrete floors but the water seeped under the wall and into the carpeted flower room. I currently have about 4 layers of 6 mil plastic on the floor (to prevent water damage haha) which are keeping the water in the carpet from evaporating. I am about 4 days from harvest but it will likely take me at least 4 days to trim.

So far i went in and removed half of the plants and took up the poly on that side and vaccumed under and am leaving the poly off for the remainder of the dark period with the dehumey running and. I cant move the other half of the plants untill harvest but the carpet and pad is clearly soaked! ANy suggestions are appreciated:sign0065:. THanks

can you cut holes in the poly and replace it all later? do you have dehumidifier? i would just cut it all out were you can. last thing you want to deal with is mold down there.

great advice, Kid. An extra fan might help also, but you really want to get that as dry as possible as soon as possible. You may even consider chopping early so that future crops are not at risk. We've all made stoner mistakes. I refuse to have anything to do with carpet- I've run buckets over at least 5 times in the last month. Too much multi-tasking and mota! A good shop vac needs to follow me around some days... Good luck, man.

I have cut a big hole in half of the poly and have the dehumey running in there now with damprid but i think the pad is soaked too. ALso i dont want to leave the hole there once the lights come on because im sure the humidity will spike. I am considering just leaving it untill harvest is done then rip all the carpet up real fast before i move the next round in. I hate myself for making such an idiotic mistake
