I keep the light on for the stability of the environment but if was warm it'd be unnecessary until they break ground.

Fwiw humidity domes are for clones, they're more likely to cause high humidity related problems with seeds like damping off than do good ime.

Good luck

If they're in the soil then they are in the dark, lol. I would set the light cycle up now at 18 hours just so it's waiting for them when they pop up but you don't need to waste the electricity yet. The only thing it stands to offer is warmth for the soil while it's on.

Should I take the lid off then

I leave my lights running at a low intensity 24/7 until i see a sprout, just to make sure the little thing gets confirmation on which direction to grow. As soon as i see the sprout, i switch to 18/6 :)

It took a whole for it to register with me as a gardener that "rot" was a pathogen and not an just an effect we are describing. Moisture... Too little and they die. Too much and they die.

Ok yea id probably leave the dome until the first leaves show (not the true leaves, just the first tiny singles) or poke a couple small holes so some humidity can escape the dome. Dont want too much, 80-90% humidity can obliterate you plant

It's got a lid with holes I can open I'll put it on with holes open and remove a bit of moisture stuck to the lid

Yes that's a good Idea maybe put something under the lid to hold open a little and ensure air flow, its the lack of airflow inside a dome that'd be my biggest concern.
Well I've slid the top to the side just now to let more air in and I noticed two of the gorrilla skittles are starting to pop up there barneys farm the runtz muffin is too and the wonder pie is from green house seeds

When I plant in soil, and sometimes when I don't, I run the light on the same schedule as vegetation: 18/6

Plants figure out which way to grow. It's called Tropism, and there are multiple types. Phototropism is a plant's tendency to grow toward light. Even if the seeds are in soil, enough photons penetrate it to influence growth direction. Plants have more cues than that, though. For answers to the trivia questions no one will ever ask: Gravitropism is a response to a gravitational field; hydrotropism is growth toward water; a response to touch is called thigmotropism, and a response to a chemical source is called chemotropism.

They had two days dark I've got a viparspectra p1000 about 30 inch above them there inside a humidity box I'll turn it on now thank you
I've got it dimmed to 25 percent
I'd move that light closer -- about 18 inches. 25% power is okay, but that's not a very powerful light, so be mindful that you might need to increase the power soon after sprouting. Watch for stretching. (I have a ViparSpectra XS1000 that is similar.)
