Start with one plant. Take several clones prior to flowering.
begin flowering clones after substantial growth. As they begin to show trichomes take a clone or two and place them back into vegetative growth.
You will then have many different mutations as they regrow. I find only about 25% grow normally like the original (that will be about ready to harvest at this time). If you like any of the mutations then you just take clones prior to flowering.
I have had two that express some form of gigantism in two different ways. One very tall with 3 times growth during flowering and another being extremely bushy with ducksfoot leaves.
I also have some end up growing VA popcorn buds, so you will get a lot of negatives through this method. I do hope more people experiment with their cannabis though.
