My mofeta sangrante plants have purple trichomes! I have never seen this shade of purple before in the trichomes. This strain has True Blood lineage and has the red sap when topped or old fan leaves defoliated. The color is fascinating to me. One plant has this color, the other does not. The rest of my plants have normal clear trichomes. This is 15 days into flower.

I'd love to see a picture of the whole plant.
I’ll take one tomorrow, lights are off now. It’s rather unremarkable as a whole plant, on the slower to develop side. Just noticed a reddish hint around the baby flowers and zoomed in to look closer and was pretty surprised. My issue now is how am I going to tell when to harvest lol. I rely heavily on the trichome appearance to judge when they’re perfect. They’re only 15 days into flower.

Hi. I have them under Diablo scorpion LEDs from HLG. Ppfd at about 950. I’m using the Humboldt’s Own line of nutes. I got them as a promo from NECann. Decided to try them out and very impressed so far. The Sonic Bloom is the bloom booster. I flipped them on May 1st. They started showing flowers on May 6th. So today is more like 14 days actually. Honestly I just have a green thumb. A lot of my feeding and watering schedule is a lot less “schedule” than just watching closely to see what they might need and just gut feelings about when to water, what to feed, what and when I prune, gut feelings based off research and practice. There is no one fool-proof, perfect way to get good results. Everyone finds their own style of growing, and as long as you like the results no one way is wrong or right. The basics apply anytime though. Environment, light, temp, humidity, nutes. I have been diligent about indoor environment and outdoors Im just lucky to live on farmland with great soil and light. I am now germinating some seeds for my outdoor grow. Crazy Train, Cherry Lime Reserve, Sour Cherry Diesel, and Green Apple Candy. Can’t wait to see how these indoor girls turn out. So far so good.

You have some good gear I see, but I think that those colorful trichomes are 100% genetic. The good gear just helps you manage your grow. The name of the strain suggests its genetic as well. I will have to take a look at it sometime. I like things that are a bit different. Like SupaFreak. It's also on my list of strains to grow.

IMO I hope it is a lot more potent than regular freak show! I was thoroughly unimpressed with that!

Regular freak show from what I found on the website says its mid level when it comes to thc --- 18%-20% range. Supafreak is "supposed" to be higher in THC (25-30%). I'm repeating what I have heard, I don't know this for sure.

I have not been able to find this strain on Seed Finders by the name of "mofeta sangrante." Anyone know who the breeder is?
