How tall is the tent?

Looks like you have a bit of time before you will have that net filled so if you want to top other branches or something then there's still time.

Once those tops grow up into the net, start weaving them through the net. Once they grow more, weave/tuck tops under the next square.

Fill the squares as much as you can and flip.
Make sure to leave enough head space for the plants to stretch 2x-3x their size.

I lollipop 1 week before flip, if needed.
Last major trim I do during the 3rd week from flip, if needed for air flow and light penetration.

It's an AC Infinity tent and my exhaust is inside. I should hopefully have enough room.
I need to look up how to top branches.
Pretty excited to see how this grow goes. I'm keeping a personal journal for the grow. I've never done this before and it's interesting. Thank you for your support!

I run my exhausts inside my tent as well.

Topping the other branches is just like topping the main stem.
Unless you're saying you haven't topped before.
If you have never topped before, I attached split photos showing before and after topping.
Hopefully that gives you a better idea of where and how to cut.
Clean your snips with alcohol before cutting.

I have topped but not branches. The lanky.one has very few limbs. So I cut the limb between the sprouts right?

Yes but cut it at least a 1/4" above the junction. The extra nub will help the branches from peeling off the stock when you try and bend them.

When I do a ScrOG I allot a 2' x 2' area for each plant. I have a 5' x 5' so I usually run 5 plants. This gives me a way to determine the plant height I want to shoot for anticipating stretch. In my case I like to get them around 16" - 18" tall before I net them and flip the light schedule. 2 - 3 weeks later I'll see flower forming and the plants will usually almost double in size. This will usually yield me a field of 8" - 10" colas. I probably could have gone another week in veg to get taller colas but I had a time frame I had to harvest these in so I flipped them slightly early.

So another question. What is done with the leaves that are up against the tent? Also is there anything that should be cleaned up on the plants?
Nothing to worry about. My leaves drag all over walls and it doesn't affect the plants at all. You can cut them off it it bugs you.

Are you going to ScrOG the plants or use the net as a trellis? If you're going to ScrOG the plants I would suggest you place them in opposing corners and bend the entire plant towards the center of the net. I would offset it instead of it being dead center. This way the longest stems have room to grow into in stretch along with the plant itself having enough net room to grow into.

You could trim off some of the lower branches that aren't going to produce much of anything below the net.

Not at all. You still have time. Just bend over the entire plant as much as you can without breaking branches and lower your net over it.

You can see how I did the same thing in this pic. Ignore the irrigation system. If you can bend the plant over enough you want to keep around 6" of space between the netline and the top of the pot.

I see youre running out of space on the left but the right is emptier. As for the right side, when you swap, the plant will grow A LOT the first 3 weeks of flower so that will definetely help you fill the screen more but the left side is gonna skyrocket to infinity and beyond 🤣
If you cant control the growth on the left just move the light to the right so its not directly above the tall stems otherwise you might run out of space vertically or you will have to pull up your light just because of those branches which wont be good for the others.
I use a net too, sometimes the side shoots get too tall but since theyre not directly under the lights they do fine, close enough to them to give good buds but not directly under them so they dont burn.

Trimmed the plants in preparation for flower. The stunted plant isn't going to grow enough so I decided it's time. Will flip, feed and water. Giving them 1 1/2 tblsp of Gaia Green 444 and power bloom. Excited!

If you're going to keep the pots in the middle rearrange the branches so that they are split down the middle like parting your hair down the middle and point each in opposing directions. At first it'll be fairly bare in the middle with most of your leaves at the edges. After about a week or two the middle will fill out and you will have much better net coverage.

Any way you can bend the top branches lower and get the net lower?

The main branches are like oak trees. Way to stiff to push any farther. I have the canopy split down the middle. Just bummed the one plant ended up small.
