Question about vert lighting.

Can I just remove the hoods from my 600's and hang them vertically? I'm getting ready for UC (and I don't mean college) and would love to have my light vert n to the side of my girls.

You should be able to use just the cordset.

I tyewrap the cord to a screw hook. Replacing the tywraps each year. Not really legal but it works for me. Peace GS

ps. there are receptacles with a place to put a hook on the top

the sockets i use r sun light supply.5kv item # 903050 $21.95 sell that hood 4 $50. you cum out on top.i got 1 in attic used 60days.not a scratch.I need 2 put on C.L.
