I was wondering what people's thoughts were on diatomaceous earth, specifically use of non-food grade stuff. I grabbed some DM at garden shop and didn't think to check the label, because I didn't think the product would not be garden safe, or that there even were different types of DM.
Does any have experience using the non-food grade Safer brand diatomaceous earth?
Hoping I didn't just poison my plants.

It's crushed seashells. It works by being sharp and cutting the outside of bugs bodies. Making them dry out. It doesn't matter if you have good grade. It's also used in a lab or industrial setting for filtration. It's fine. Won't hurt anything.
