Using questionable soiless medium (double ground pine bark, usually PM but had to settle) and ran out of nutes which I replaced with MG type fert 3 or 4 weeks into 70 day strains. Plants were super stressed til a couple hermied and pollinated all. Have 1 super pheno that far exceded quality and production of the rest but still grown very poorly and not up to potential. If I re-gen it will the clones have the original potential or are they doomed to under achieve because of the mistreatment already endured? If I should re-gen how much should I leave when chopping? Can anybody give me a pic of a plant after you have harvested and sent to re-gen to go by? Should I cut down to a few nodes from bottom or harvest buds and leave full plant with a little greenery on each branch. Peace, sarge.

Whats up sarge? You keep this up and you are going to be known as Dr. Mengele. It takes some time to reveg a plant, plus a little luck. The genetics are there you just need to treat her better next time. What strain is it? I just spent 6 weeks babying a Kashmir Kush. I have about 5 shoots coming out now. I even got some clones off her, just stuck 1.5" buds in some coir.Give my primo a call for some more seeds. I just spoke with him this week. I will try to show you my plant tomorrow.
You need to get some easy nutes like H&G AF or Canna. Then get some 10 gal containers fill it with 50/50 coir chunky perlite. Get a grow in before summer hits. Suerte JK

Re-gen usually lame

This is an AK-47 that was a mother for over a year. She started to flower due to low light conditions (?) (corrected with t5s) in my veg closet, and I put her under the big lights about two weeks before I switched to 12/12. She developed spiral leaves and threw 1-blade leaves, then 3-blades, but never back to 5 or more. This is typical of plants who get confused. I'll be getting about 1/4 of the yield I'd have gotten if she'd been uninterrupted. The only reason I didn't cull her was because she's the last of a good AK cut in my spot, and she'll be good head stash for a patient who isn't as sick of AK as the rest of us... I'll post some better pics tomorrow if you like. She also went through a crazy pH flux that I can't explain. It's corrected, but damage done... I believe she is also pretty rootbound... But in any case, she's flushed and almost ready for chop chop. Peace

LMAO JK. The strain is one of your mystery strains out of 3 I ran. With the crap pine bark medium and run out of nutes 1 of them is monster with 8-10 huge buds with no co2. Clearly the best of 12 fems. Want to definitely keep for a mother. Would love and greatly appreciate pics of re-genned if you don't mind. Time no biggie for future as I can stick to edge of veg room. Would like to have it ready to begin cloning next winter. Gonna do what I can rest of winter and spring and hope for killer season next year. Got 1 more batch of yours 75 days in veg gonna flower next 5 days and hope to finish with better results by May. Tax refund has me limited budget to improve May harvest. Already ordered GH 3 part plus Kool Bloom and thinking about making 3hr round trip for more PM. Will order H&G AF or Canna soon and use next. Want to try your 50/50 coir mix and chunky perlite in at least half of new pots but not available in Bible belt. How much of the coir and what kind do you suggest do I need to order to fill 10g pots with 50% chunky perlite? Glad to here you spoke with Croc. Miss him really. He's a great guy. I will try and talk with him this week as I do need new beans since Reef ganked me. Send as many as possible and label if possible.Tell Croc I said hi if you speak to him before I do. Suerte.

Thanks AF. Would definitely like more pics if you re-genned it to see your trimming technique.

Hi Sarge,

Have you ever checked the ph of your runoff from the ground pine bark?

I've never used it myself but I know from past experience that growing around pine trees usually runs into problems as the soil is too acidic. I think you might be better off with an organic potting mix and add 40% perlite.

I've also read here that coir can be a bit tricky compared to potting soil. I know people who are new to growing who have used the hydroponic nutes in potting soil with good results.

Coir is much easier then potting soil to grow in. Tell my primo to give you some old seeds of mine. He has some new stuff I was going to oil because of a hermi last year. While I was in mexico last year from my monitors I saw where my room got down to 39*(in socal by the ocean ?)When I got home on branch was touching a wall to the outside I went to check it out the buds and a pollen cloud went everywhere. It was a pheno from a cross that made my seaberry, really fuelish. I pulled it that day and gave it to a friend. It was 6 weeks into a 10 week flower. I later found out that was some damn strong herb and only @ 6 weeks. When I get home I am going to have one of my tios run all my seeds I have but I will really keep an eye on that c4 cross. Those seeds might be good for a slow boat ride in your swamps.I would not want to breed with them. I bet he has about 2000 seeds easy.
I am not a regen guy but I believe you should drop your feed down to 300ppm and under 24 hrs for a few weeks. At about 3 weeks I gave her some aminos and a product called radifarm. 10 days later my shoots started.I have her now under 18 hrs. Still in the 300ppms,in the next couple of days I will take her up to 500.She(Kashmir Kush) is one of the reasons I am not in Mex yet. I will have her cloned out shortly.
Gh is fine. I just want you to use a simple nute line. I can not believe you guys do not have any coir back there. But I guess I can believe it. I drove through parts around 5oo miles of you and I thought I was in a different country compared to cali. Call an ag supply and ask if they have some or can order some. Get a cab and go to a hydro store in your capital.I'll post a pic by the end of the day.JK

Sorry, guys, I misunderstood- this AK lady wasn't flowered out and recycled; she slipped into flowering in a darker corner of my veg room. She continued to flower for about 10 days, in my best estimation, and then I put her under bigger lights (18hr cycle) for about a week. Just as she started to get beck into veg, I flipped the lights to 12/12. She was totally confused, and now that she knows what's expected, she doesn't have the vigor to really produce. Believe me, I don't do this to my girls very often; I had to prioritize in order to make room for new strain mothers. She had to take one for the team so the whole crop didn't suffer. The 3/4 ounce that she does produce ought to be pretty solid; this cut of AK has provided me with stellar nugs for a while now. But good AK is everywhere in the Springs, and trimming it any more makes me half nauseated because it's so cherry-sweet and potent! Good luck with you re-gen mission, Sgt. JK can guide you through the process, he knows his sh!t. Peace
