This was an experiment that’s actually going good.

I chopped the first grow on July 25th. I kept a few stems and tiny buds on and threw them right in with the seedlings on 20/4 lighting.

They looked super gnarly and rough and mutant-y the first bit bit are starting to come around and develop bud sites.

Am I going to get bud? Hermies? Males? 0% thc bud?

Can take a long time to re grow. I prefer to take a cutting and reveg that from trial and error.

In a few weeks mutated single leaves will emerge from the buds or clean sites. After a few more weeks the new leaves will be more and more like they are supposed to be until growing normally.

Usually the plant will grow many new but thinner branches and be very bushy. I think the wild branchy apprearance is why they call it “monster” cropping.

In my experience i got fluffier buds off the plant the second time and lots of them but at lower weight and quality.

When i do it with clones and procure all new growth instead of leaving old growth they flower just like the mother did.

Keep posting the results please. Many growers likely want to see how it goes. Every grow is different. Maybe you will have a knack for revegging harvested plants. I think with some thoughtful trimming it could work better than it did for me.

Good luck!

If it's a regular photoperiod plant, it will revert to veg. It takes a few weeks but it will start shooting out new stems and nodes.

Then it will be a normal veg plant. It's best to clean up the old stuff once it's big enough.

Ok good to know.

these plants were basically write offs so I didn’t put much time into them. I left the old buds on. They turned brown and dried up and grew some mangled looking single leaves off. I havnt cut any of them off yet.

then one got thrips so I sprayed it very generously with dawn soap. Bad idea. Made em look even shittier so I cut the ugly leaves off and that’s it. Basically abandoned these plants to see what would happen.

I do feed them the same and give them the same light as my young vegging plants. The week 3 of veg nutrient schedule.

They’re starting to look like plants again. Not the prettiest. But not bad for something I was seconds from throwing out before I decided why not just stick em back in the spare space in the tent and see what happens. Wouldn’t hurt.

Ever have mold problems growing that dense? I reveg, always get paranoid tho and bust out the scissies (that's cool weed slang for scissors)

I would just take clones off the reveg and start again.

I'm with rippedtorn, looks like a great environment for pests and wpm.

the one plant did have pests, it got a hell of a spraying with dawn dish soap, made all the leaves look like shit, and shes recovered since and hasnt been touched, the aphids/thrips seem to have died down... not quite 100% but theyre barely noticeable and doing any damage. I find one a day is about it.

I have a 4" inline fan blowing on the bottom of the canopy/tent in two spots, a tall circulating fan, and a clip on desk fan. so I think there is a lot of air movement.

maybe with them this thick now I can turn the tower fan up a notch too.

the plant is packed though yes... wasnt expecting to have 6 like this

These plants are gross inside. Old dried bud from April and it’s just a jungle in there. Growing great though.

had to toss out 5 ounces cause of bud rot and pm because of overcrowding and not enough air flow in and around the plants oh well learned from that one

Cleaned up the insides. There was a TON of puny stuff and future larf.

I’m two weeks into flower and already seeing marble size buds so these bottom ones I cut of weren’t even starting to form yet. Seems like I cut about 80% of the shoots off though.
