Still a whole mess of clear trichs, got some time left. Any pics of the whole bud? Let's see some pistils.

Hi, I guess that 2 weeks it is. Here's a couple of pics from today. I'm still taking the trichome pic from a small leaf snipped from close to the bud. I do it this way because I have a half decent microscope and image stacking software. I'm sure I can do better and will introduce myself to the Photography forum, hoping they are as kind as you with their advice. 😀

I think you want to look more at trichs on the buds, not the leaves.

Hi Guys, I'm trying to find a good way of getting a close-up shot of the bud itself but so far results have been disappointing. I think the seeds were planted on 3rd Oct., or 16 weeks. It's cold here and things grow slowly. The strain is Original Oreoz. Your wedding cake looks amazing. Something to aspire to. 🤩

Thanks Polar Bear.
I think your Oreos will be fire as well.
I have some Oreos/Purple Punch I want to run again.
Are you just taking pictures with phone, do you have a jewelers loop?

Hi Daniel. The bud pics were taken with a Nikon D5300 DSLR with 18-200mm lens. The trichs were taken from a series of microscope snaps at different focuses and combined using CombineZP software.

I'm only growing two plants at a time and I'm noticing a first sign of mould, so I'm thinking of bringing in the sheaves before any disaster occurs and trying again. I definitely need to get the temperature in the tent up and the humidity down.

Here's a pic of the girls today. 😇

Oh, yeah, that top in the back looks suspect for possible mold. Can you carefully get in there and give a look?

Hi all, Thanks for your interest. Current sitrep is:-

I will harvest one of the plants tomorrow; the one with signs of mould. The other still looks OK so far. I have reduced the humidity in the tent and will watch the last plant like a hawk and keep an eye on the trichs as well as I can. I know I should be consulting the Photography forum but I'm not out of ideas yet but please feel free to tell me 'I told you so' when they suggest a better way. 🥳

Cool Camara and software
Ive always used my phone through 100xMag. My wife got me a 1000xMag recorder. I'm loving that thing.
Sorry about your PM, definitely need to get environment in check. Hopefully you can keep the mould off your second plant.
