I have started 3 seed in root riot cubes. All three have cracked and are sprouting. How ever the thing i have a question about, one of them seems to just be lifting its self up and the tap root is just inlongating out of the cube.
When looking at it from the top to bottom. You seed the sprouted top with the leafs then the stem. And as you go down it get really white and has a bunch of little hairs sticking off . With it what I have seen on root systems. Is it possible that the tap root is not able to push into the cube? And should I just very carefully just put it in some like soil and cover what looks to be part of the tap root?

I will post pictures of what I'm talking about later today since I'm at work right now.

Binded peat can often be too stiff for a sprout to grow in to. Most people use them with cuttings.

Rockwool or growdan seems to work much better for seedlings. Good luck 👍
