That’s not hot! 90s are not hot! Even low 100s aren’t bad! It’s hotter here than Bakersfield, or Sacramento! It can be dealt with! The heat is not an issue! But the humidity Can be in some areas! Like over by the Coast, possibly!

Yeah my son is in Redding, hard to believe it gets that hot there and then in the winter he sends me pics of the dogs in the yard playing in the snow. That's not a nice environment for plants and other living things.

Right on for your son! The farther north you get out of Sacramento and anything south of that, The better! Unfortunately, I lived in SoCal for many years, and I won’t go south of the Tehachapi’s even for my mom’s funeral! Hopefully he lives outside of redding. Because 90,000 population Redding is considered the big city around here! Way too crowded!😆✌️

Thank you. That is what I was thinking. The last 2 years when I harvest we still have 100 degree days. I think I will postpone it for at least a month

Yeah we had triple digits mid October just as I was waiting on a couple to finish. Seems to always cost me some taste and smell but not potency. I did a grow through the winter aiming to get the taste and smell better. 3 days into the dry I'm getting a pleasant grapefruit aroma, no hay yet. They just didn't get a chunky as a summer grow.

Trial and error, brother! That’s how you zero it in! Preconceived, notions, are a hindrance! I crashed and burned my first two years! But use a little horse sense, and you can figure it out! Every climate is different! Kudos for putting the effort in!😍 And mother nature is not shy about letting you know whether your horse sense is bullshit or not! Ultimately, you learn to listen to her! lol! Keep hammering away, man!❤️✌️

Sacramento had 8 triple digit days in September 2024. I will aim for late October.

Just be mindful the overnight temps start having hard drops around that time too. If you have somewhere warm and cozy for their nights you'll probably be okay.
