Well, it’s over. From 6am Saturday morning to 11:30pm, two plants. The next day it was 9-4, the other two. What have I learned? My 3’ tall plants only have good hard buds the top half of that 36”. Everything below should have been trimmed clean. I did, but not enough.
Since these went to seed, the lower airy buds are really just seed sacks. The plants are super sticky and I filled a full Brown paper bag of trim for trash, and half of one with those airy buds, less airy buds and sugar leaf. I probably can’t cook those seed sacks with the seeds in my butter can I? The trimming was tedious and I found the Frozen Custard single plant to be low yielding and loaded with seeds. She smells like sweet gas though. The three hasberry plants produced at least two maybe three times the FC. The evidence of seeds was present on the lower sections but as I got into the best parts up top, the buds feel tight and have purples mixed with green, almost like if it saw direct light it turned purple, if it was lower or hidden it stayed very bright green. It’s hard to see the seeds like the FC, I don’t think I trimmed over one seed in the Hashberry plants best nugs, but I did flick one out so...
There was a lot of un-useable nugs just not worth trimming, some I gave a quick chop to and parts I babied because they look and smell amazing! The shot of the stalk is of the Frozen Custard to show how stacked up the nodes were on this plant, it’s like a backbone, it did not want to get tall.
