Schwifty grows under ViparSpectra KS3000 // OGKB x Okie from Tenguseed Co

Just got my Phlizon FD-4500 up and running (table grows) It will do the job, but the ViparSpectra KS series definitely shows better build quality/fit n finish as well as PPFD/power efficiency. The older LM281B diodes in the FD-4500 also prove to be less efficient based on heat/PPFD per watt as well. The aluminum bars are approaching 120°F with only 345W input (6 on the 1-10 dimmer).

For reference, my KS-5000 in the tent is currently @ 75% (385W) and the aluminum bars are only at a mere 88°F LOL. It’s also putting out almost 125 more PFFD at the same height from the canopy.

Thanks man, she’s definitely found her calling and after this event it’s cemented it for her.

100% agree and can already see these are going to shine! These are 4 plants and the one in the back right was the stretchier of the phenos. If I were going to pheno hunt, that one would be my pick. Her colas stretched beautifully, stems are thick and vegged great!

100000% agree, that is something I replaced. I absolutely had to do this to get to the height level I am at. Hope you enjoy the light!!!

Yeah, a 4 pack of pulleys was only $7 on Amazon. They look exactly like the ones that came with it (probably from the same factory).

I’ll start and finish the autos where they are. The KS-5000 stays in the tent. Just hope the Phlizon doesn’t self ignite LOL.

How far are you guys running your ks3000 to the canopy in flower? I know viperspectra says 12 inches but I'm always a little suspect of what they put out for hanging heights.

Right now I’m at 100% and around 14 inches from the closest tops. Around 16-19 inches from the lowest tops.

Sweet! I'm somewhere in that range...I measured 12 inches and yanked her up a couple more inches after that. I just turned it up to a 100% today since I just hit week 4 of flower.

Yeah my first run, I was paranoid to go too strong. I didn’t go to 100% until week 6-7 and it wasn’t this close when it was. This time I cranked it to 100% at week 3 1/2 and even closer this time. I’m also feeding much heavier this go around.

Definitely give it a shot one time and see how ya like it. It’s the best option for me considering I only have one flower tent and need to get the most out of it I can.

Day 22 Flower

Watering:

Starting week 4 of flower and removed anything Nitrogen related other than Calmag.

Environmental parameters have been updated and slowly dropping temps and humidity to get the VPD up

Dropped the light a couple of inches, and if they seem to adjust then I have room to drop a couple of more inches.

The back left is filling in fast, these are gonna be some chonky nugs.
