Hey everyone! Been a a couple years since I've been on. I am starting my second grow and am just looking for any advice that anyone may give out . I got 5 trainwrecks going , planted in soil at about the beginning of September. Using Fox farms ocean forest , oh my water to 6.0-6.5 , use filtered water . I just gave the plants a feeding , I am still new to using nutrients , but I use a 2 gallon water jug , put 10ml of cal mag , 18ml of fish shit, 1tsp great white premium mycorrhizae, runoff ppm was around 1200, and runoff ph was 5.6 . They are currently in 3.5 gallon sized pots and I plan on putting them into 10gallon pots when I fill the tent out and flip to flower . Just put the trellis netting on today to help bush it out more so I can try to get the plants to fill out the tent . Any advice or tips will be great

I typically grow in coco/perlite but it seems like your nutrient level might be a bit low, not sure if you are getting the correct breakdown of nutrients with just fish shit and worm shit. 10ml for 2 gal of water every feeding seems like alot, I use 2 ml per gal. with coco/perlite.

Your plants look pretty good so they must like what you are doing.

Do not wait until you are ready to flower before transplanting them, I would transplant now.

From my understanding I thought Fox farms ocean forest has a lot of slow release nutrients in it , so that's why I am hesitant on adding a bunch more , but I don't add 10ml Everytime , I was just thinking of giving it 1 heavy feeding . And also what's your reasoning for transplanting now and not waiting ? I was just thinking that when transplanting into a bigger pot and waiting a week to flip to recover from transplanting, that it would have a whole new pot to be able to grow into during the whole flowering stage .

I have always read to transplant and get into your final pot size as soon as you can, after 3-4 sets of branches.Gives the roots time to stretch out before flower.

Wouldn't that be the same thing as me waiting until they finish filling out my tent during veg stage ? That way when it's full enough i transplant it into its final big pot before I flip to flower , that way it has tons of room and time for the roots to stretch out during flower ?

Update, got the girls into their final pots , 10gallon, bought a CO2 tank system the other day , got the CO2 at 1200ppm . Going to do a good defoliation in the next couple days and then flip into flower probably next week . Girls are loving their new pots though!
