Seedling soil, when is it okay to change?

I've started my seeds in some fox farm light warrior. I was under the impression starting seeds in living soil was bad because it's full of nutrients that could fry the seedling. I grow 100% organic. I cook my soil for 30 days or so before use. So am I wrong in thinking I can't just start my seeds in this rich soil, or when is it okay to put the young seedlings into the living soil.

Nutrient rich soil won't burn seedlings. The reason you start in seed starting mix is to promote root growth and maintain moisture content. The seed will live on its own food supply (cotyledons) for a couple weeks so you don't need nutrient rich soil to begin with, but it doesn't really hurt anything.

Soon after sprout, I transfer my auto seedlings to a five gallon pot containing premoistened FFOF/FFHF/Perlite and granular pasteurized chicken manure.
This is the method I've settled on after trial and error and I have not experienced any burning or other nutrient problems.
