~weekly Monday update time

Right around 2.5 or 3 weeks since the flip to 12/12. Didn't get as much horizontal growth as I would have liked but I'm still really excited and cannot wait to see what this tent can yield. This weekend I will get on my belly and crawl around doing the lollipop haircut on the gals. Popped 4x Critical Magic beans a couple weeks ago and they're doing seedling things.

Hard to say...I go more based on feel than actual #'s. I feel like I was pushing my plants too hard these last couple of runs so kinda just chillin on these ones.

FD8000 @ about 15-20% intensity...but that's really like 600w right from the getgo
SF4000 @ about 50%
SE3000 @ about 75%

Might slowly start to increase things over the next couple of weeks. We'll see.

I could do 5 gallon fabrics but have been prefering my homemade 5 gal buckets lol, I drilled 3/4” holes all the way around every roughly 4” up from the bottom lip to the top lip, and another 6 holes in the bottom, I put a piece of metal screen on the bottom to prevent medium loss not much gets lost through the sides but I just cleaned them out 2 days ago from the last run, and those roots where fully entangled into the bottom screens on every plant so I’m maple with those results lol

I refill the 5 gallon primo water jugs with my hose with a chlorine / chloramine / VOC filter on the end, I stopped PH’ing water about halfway through my last run and wow, I think PH’ing was actually hindering the plants because they exploded once I just started feeding tap water that sat out

I’d be interested in your new tester method if you want an independent tester

You need one of those mechanic dolly things to roll around and clean up the bottoms.

Time for my close-to-mid-flower top dress when I get home from work today. All 4 plants will get ~2 cups of 2-8-4 GG Power Bloom. They all got the Triforce top up last week. Currently doing 4 tablespoons every 3 weeks on the micros. So far so green

Ok just so I am clear lol, I’m guessing that the 2 cups is between all 4 plants correct? I thought you had it at 8/8 tablespoons for the 2-8-4 and 4-4-4 in the up-pot to the 5 gallon, then 2 tbs 2-8-4 and. 10tbs 4-4-4 for the

No sir, this is 2 cups of macronutrients per 7 gallon pot I am running an aggressive blend this cycle! Averages out to over 4 tablespoons per gallon (32 tablespoons per 7 gallon pot every 4 weeks)

Normal guide is:

-3 tablespoons per gallon of medium every 4 weeks
-50/50 blend right before flower of the 444/284
-100% 284 mid flower
-2 tablespoons of the triforce every 2 weeks

Aggressive run this cycle:

-4.5 tablespoons per gallon of medium every 4 weeks
-4 tablespoons of the triforce every 2 weeks

still doing the

-100% 284 mid flower (with the additional 4 tablespoons of seaweed extract per plant)

This is Zen to me. This moment. When that tent door gets opened time ceases to exist and thought fades.

Seriously though this time of the grow phase is my favorite. The flowers go from yellowy green blobs and slowly morph into the unique flowers that each plant produces with their own little qualities and traits. And over the next coming weeks you get to witness that metamorphosis unfold right before your eyes

Yes I'm high as fuck. Enjoy. We got about 5 weeks to go!

These plants side by side are the exact same strain, fed the exact same amounts, and I've had a little cal deficiency start to pop up on just the one. This is why you need to be flexible with your grows and diagnose as you go with each plant
