UC the Flip...

Snapped a couple shots last week when I raised the light, bumped up the power to 1,000 W, and flipped the UC to bloom on 6/21/12 with the following mix...

1st Res Change to Bloom Nutes @ 30 gal on 6/21/12
CalMag: 2
UC Roots: 2
CS Bloom A: 4
CS Bloom B: 4
pH: 5.70
PPM: 315

Took about 15 min to pump all the nutes out of the UC and then Shop Vac out another 10 gal from the epicenter. Then it was another 15 min to pump in 30 gal of the mixed nutes from the 55 gal top off res...

And finally flipped the UC...

Here's a quick shot of the Roots Organic side moved into the bedroom on 6/21/12, now that both sides are on 12/12...

September is pretty close. Any future camera bodies will probably have better video capabilities and the usual slight increase in low-light performance. My best advice if you decide to wait is pre-order it on announcement day. I waited years before deciding to move to a better body, saw the announcement and watched the pre-order buttons disappear due to high demand. Now I'm stuck in a queue without a solid ETA.

A Shady Update... Roots Organic R14 and Under Current R15

Snapped a few more shots last night at lights out. Things are progressing nicely...

I added 10 gal in the topoff res with the following mix, on Day 5 of bloom (6/26/12). I think I'll do a full res change in the UC just before the start of Week 3 adding the bloom booster to the mix and bumping up the overall PPM's...

Another quick update on the UC as the girls continue to suck down the nutes. Gonna bump up the PPM's when I change out the res, but for now I topped off the system with the following mix to keep the PPM's and pH in check on 6/30/12:
