Thank you. No I have not was debating on doing that or not and is it to late to top now?Yes. I would start with the fan leaves growing from the main stem. That way, the branches will grow better and there will be better air circulation near the center of the plant.
Have you topped it?
Also it is a autoflower.Thank you. No I have not was debating on doing that or not and is it to late to top now?
5 weeks old was little stunted in beginning.Do not top if it's a auto ...how old ?
Would it still be ok to cut the 2 big fan leaves i have pushed aside with straws right now they go right to the stem blocking alot of bud spots down low? And I could do as you said with other top fan leaves?Being a auto you have a limited growth time looks like it's putting out white hair now i would take top set of fan leaves and tie the top to the side of your pot slightly bending it over and get ready for flower up light output slightly if possible
Sorry. I forgot to ask. That'll change how it's pruned and trained, which isn't much. Some say to top once, and others say not to top at all. I haven't topped the ones I have grown. Also it is a autoflower.
thank you for speaking to that, i too believe in leaving them on as long as i can.I don't understand the logic of removing leafs that's what the plant uses for growth, like a plant literally cannot grow without leafs, without the obvious catching light they store starch for use through the night, they transpire water in turn pulling in more nutrients, they absorb c02 an essential building block for buds.

Buds grow because of leafs.
Thinking in terms of photos, I agree, except for the purposes of improving air flow and shaping the plant.I don't understand the logic of removing leafs that's what the plant uses for growth, like a plant literally cannot grow without leafs, without the obvious catching light they store starch for use through the night, they transpire water in turn pulling in more nutrients, they absorb c02 an essential building block for buds.
I'm sure that's true. It's likely also true for the other way around.it's only my speculation but it appears root mass is related to plant mass?

I hate when it's time to cut the main stem fan leaves, especially when it's an indica with beautiful wide fan leaves!
How many days old is your plant from the time it sprouted?
Some say don't top Autos, I personally top them.
I have not been growing Autos long but I've topped every Auto I've grown and personally not seen an issue from topping.
They bounce back just as fast as all the photoperiods I've topped.
The advice I was given and have followed is wait till day 14 from sprout and top the plant, wait for 2 new branches to grow in and start LST.
She's 25 days old from sprout. Was little stunted in beginning had to transplant I know your not supposed to transplant autos but since she's been doing a lot better and likes this soil better with ph of 6.0.. just worried to start cutting anything don't want to do any harm. Getting a lot of good advice on here though.I hate when it's time to cut the main stem fan leaves, especially when it's an indica with beautiful wide fan leaves!

The 2nd time I topped Autos, I thought it was 21 days from sprout so I topped them 1 week late. Was still plenty of time to train and everything before they started budding but 7 more days would of been nice lol. She's 25 days old from sprout.
