Hey members on Thcfarmer..

Looking for some input on this little one.. what's wrong with it?

growing under cfl and it's only three weeks old in soil, normal low nute soil and it was given 1/4 nutes a few days ago, but it was alway's looking a little off. also i think it sprang up a little better for a few day's after the nutes and i'm thinking it could be a nute pig.. but it's still a pup and i don't want to kill it.. unsure what to do, any idea's?? leaves are looking a little twisted and thin, also it seems a little stunted. it was put in a jiffy cup to begin as well. hope this helps??

just clowning...I think I ran out of cups once and used a stash jar..it's a bad idea...for one no drainage and low air exchange, but I didn't think ahead of how hard transplanting would be either.

and that's not mulch on top, that is my medium.. Is it no good? I have used it before and it's worked fine..
what's your thought people?

honestly, i try not to bring anything but sterile medium inside. also, I like to be able to see dryness, and for bugs, or be able to rake it for oxygen.

if the dirt gets a little compacted from the cycle of watering and drying out..it's beneficial to break up the dirt on the top layer a little. It helps the roots gain access to more oxygen. Roots need aeration..that's why we like to amend it with perlite and such. Drainage is just as important too..don't want them to drown when fed.

I don't know if it's good or bad my brother. What is it? In any case if u have used it before I'm sure it's fine. Just looked a little chunky for lack of a better word. You can save her no problem just get her into something with way better drainage. Also mix a some perlite into the soil. That will help as well.

Anytime bro. Not a problem at all. Like to see people love this culture and it's hard if ur having a hard time. Don't ever get discouraged though bro. It's all about learning and when ur learning sometimes u crash and burn. Lol. I can't think of anything that would be cheaper than perlite. If it's expensive where u r I'd go the eBay or Amazon route. You can get a huge bag of chunky perlite for 20 bucks. Or a small one for like five. There are other things I suppose but perlite is the cheapest as far as I'm concerned. Hydroton, clay pebbles ect... But again I can't see those things costing less than perlite. Look around online bro u can get it mad cheap.

If you wanna save, go to the Depot, and go to the garden center and ask for the BIG bag of Therm -O- Rock.
It's like $18

Just don't get the Miracle Grow perlite ….. stuff is too pricey and is crap.

I like Tnelz' idea…Amazon Prime FTW!!!
