What’s up guys here I am with another grow and this one is a pheno hunt thru a 5 pack of in-house genetics slurricane #7. I topped all 5 and I’m about to transplant and move them into the 5x5 with the medic grow fold 8 720 watt 8 bar fixture!!

I had a lot of issues on the first run in that 5x5 and this time around hope to have things way more dialed in and planned out.

The winning pheno will then be reversed onto my “elite” grape gas S1 (CLTVTD cut) which was a collab between cannarado and compound genetics and hunted by CLTVTD genetics in NorCal.

I use organic dry amendments and compost teas using products like recharge and roots organics terp tea dry amendment line. Any questions about my methods or stuff I use feel free to post.

Things are looking a lot better but there’s a bit too much Nitrogen. I used re amended soil but tested it out on other cultivars and everything was fine. It’s all good they are gonna work thru it fast and just take off anytime now.

I had some temp issues bc this house has sat for some time so the furnace needed to be fixed. I’m seeing some variation in structure but not too much.

Well here we are about 40 days from seed. The bottom left pheno is the oddball but it’s harder to tell as they get bigger. I did an IPM treatment using spinosad and a touch of pure crop one for the surfactant. LEDs are at 60%

What’s up guys been awhile since I did an update on this one. Life’s been busy but today laid the scrog. I’ll probably flip in a couple weeks and I’ll be take cuts here soon as well. The middle plant was the biggest out the gate but now is super short. The back left is spindly and I won’t be taking cuts based on its growth and structure alone. My 2 favorites are the front and back right.

I upped the cal/mag is it seems they are needing it. I’m also trying out these grassroots fabrics pots. They have a liner so your pots don’t dry out as quick but towards the bottom and the very bottom is all fabric. I’ve heard really good things about these so I’ll let you guys know wut I think. A day later after applying some recharge, kelp extract, and Cal/Mag and growth is looking good. I’m gonna flip soon maybe a little sooner than I first thought.

I decided to flip these plants since they are getting so big so fast and since I’m off work this weekend I can dial in my watering and new light schedule which will be from 7pm-7am. They are gonna sit for 24 hours in darkness before starting the new schedule. I did this for no reason it just worked out that way with the schedule I chose. I think I’m gonna supplement with co2 the first half of flower. I’ll fill a 20 lb tank and use it till it’s gone. I’ve never ran it in a space like this so I’m unsure of how long it will last. Here we are going into week 2 of flower and I top dressed 4 tbls terp tea bloom and also did a compost tea as the plants are looking a bit hungry. I’ll be applying another compost/nutrient tea tonight when the lights turn on at 7pm. I was super happy to get off work and check the garden and took the video last night but realized how late it was so I’m posting it today!!! Have a good weekend farmers!

Things are looking pretty good in the 5x5 but they seem a bit hungry so I made a compost/nutrient tea with my terp tea bloom dry amendments to get the plants by until the top dress kicks in 100%. I was a bit nervous since I wasn’t able to check up on this grow for 2 days!! I’ve been dialing in the drip system and it worked like a charm!! I’ve been doing a half gal when lights turn on and then after work I go and assess if they need more and have been working them up to another half gal on the second watering about half way thru the light cycle. This run has been going a lot smoother compared to my first run where it was all rushed and setup last minute.

I’ve had to make a few adjustments with my drip system as these are all different phenos and one of the pots got flooded so I removed the pot tray and skipped a watering for that plant. I’ll be doing mostly clone grows in this space just to make it easier and can’t wait to get one of my elite cultivars in this space next. I turned up the medic grow fold 8 to 100% so now we are pumping out 720 watts!!!

Issues in the garden!! Some deficiencies have popped up and using the drip system is proving problematic with 5 different phenos. I haven’t been able to dedicate the time like I wanted so I really need to assess the situation and figure out how I wanna move forward with growing in this space. Other than that the plants are smelling great and the flowers are stacking! One of the phenos I had my eye on is actually taking the longest to flower. My lil runt is one of the healthiest in the garden but she’s not making it to the next round. The middle pheno tho! She’s the shortest and stacking with some nice flowers developing. Ok guys that’s it for this week and in the future I might try out some Earthbox sub irrigated planters to take away some of the issues I’ve had due to inadequate watering of the 2 biggest plants in the garden. I’m just not at this house enough to work on things right now. I also think I need to top dress heavier with plants as big as these. Thanks for coming by and have a good weekend fam!

Well guys it looks like some male flowers opened up somewhere as I’m seeing pollinated branches. Idk if I should start over or ride it till the end and hope my crop isn’t seeded a lot. I need to get in there tonight and try to see if I can find where these pollen sacs are forming. This one hurts but I already can see which one is looking like my keeper. I got all these elites and other projects I wanna work on but would hate to eat the loss on this run but hey that’s cultivation you can’t win em all but we always come back swinging!

So when I’m running different strains at the same time I run pure blend pro grow at a balance pace it’s not perfect by far but it has been the easiest , course the more bud ya get jarred up the less likely you are to run multiples and we’ll you know what happens when ya run clones - just no comparison in my opinion

Hey Mosh how ya been bud? Ya I’m 100% running clones in here next. I wanna fill this tent with grape gas clones or maybe one of my other cultivars. I actually was thinking about ya and how you tried to help me out awhile back so let me send you this grape gas cut brotha it’s some . I should’ve flowered these out small to find my keeper instead of thinking I should try to maximize the space.

Well we are finally getting to the end of this grow and things could’ve went better. I haven’t been able to put in the time in this space to have a really awesome run. Some underwatering leading to other issues and the one plant has different symptoms. My runt and short pheno are the healthiest. With the newborn here I may just shut this space down for a bit until I figure out how I wanna move forward. We will get the harvest no doubt but the plants could be healthier. Check out the different phenos and of course my favorite and frostiest was the one that popped male flowers. My crop doesn’t seem seeded much tho only the plant that popped the bananas.

Well that’s it for this week I’m going to do a journal on a single apples and bananas (CLTVTD cut) in a 10 gallon pot in a 3X3 under my spider farmer SE-5000 I won for Aprils POTM!! It’s gonna be a dope one guys stay tuned!!!

This Sunday marks 60 days in flower and these plants are coming down! Once again ran into some issues and kinda half assed this one but the flowers still turned out pretty good!

The obvious winner I think at this point is the red pheno(colored tags) but she grew horrible at first and had this slight droop to her when every other plant was perked up. Probably my fault somehow but in the end her terps, color, nug structure is standing out from the bunch. There is one that might be frostier and it looks different from the rest of them which have that purple punch style nug structure idk you guys be the judge.

Runner up possibly more frost and nice terps but still not like the red! Nug structure is way different than the rest on this one. This one also hermed and pollinate herself a bit but the rest weren’t seeded much and she also didn’t keep throwing sacs.

Short pheno that had awesome structure and stack but the frost isn’t there and neither are the terps.

We made it to harvest! Not bad but not masterpiece either. I’m running all clones of elites next in here that’s the only way to do it especially with a drip system. I’ll update you guys when I actually chop. Super stoked to run an oversized 3.3x3.3 tent I got from mars with my new spider farmer SE5000 I won for Aprils POTM. I’m gonna push for over a lb in that space and I will document it all. 4 Grape Gas clones in 3 gal fabric pots hooked up to hydro lock drip emmitters. I know how she grows and I think we can pull it off!

I have not had my hands on Slurricane for several years. The one thing I see is a completely different plant than I remember. I got the plant as a clone but I remember it leaning towards the sativa side of things with mostly lime green growth. I get confused and I sometimes wonder where the differences come from. The one in the back right is close to what I remember of the plant.
