Hi there,
I join you towards the end of my second indoor grow. These plants were germinated from bagseed on the 26th of July. It's been 4 weeks since I flipped to 12/12.
This is my second grow indoors.
The first grow in the tent was 2 monstercropped clones from my first outdoor grow. They took ages to re-veg and didn't turn out very well because I used hardware store potting mix. Lesson learned.
Anyway, I got some decent soil (living soil from easyasorganics), and some coco perlite and nutrients,
Calmag,
Coco a&b,
Fulvic acid,
Flavor savior,
Bud burst,
Crystalic,
Guano,
PK heavy,
Dyna-gro bloom
And some other hardware store fertiliser.
I got pH up, pH down, and a digital meter to read the pH and EC values.
My tent is 3x3 feet, and my light (a gift) is a 100w cob.
My ventilation consists of 2 pc fans and a homemade extractor fan, made from a car heater blower. It's a bit noisy but it works well.
The temperature is around 20°c most of the time, but it has been as low as 15°, not ideal I know, but it's not all the time.
Humidity is 50-60% most of the time, it has been in the 70's, and I'm acutely aware of bud rot, so I try to keep it in the sweet spot.
I have 5 plants in the tent (too many for 100w, another lesson learned for next time lol)
One plant is in soil, around 2 gallons or about 7 litres. 2 plants are in the same size pot, but using coco perlite. 1 is in a 1 ltr pot (coco perlite) and 1 is in a fabric supermarket bag with around 20-25 ltrs of coco perlite.
I use a combination of training techniques, topping, lst, supercropping etc. I'm hard on them, but I keep them as healthy as possible while I'm doing it.
I'm still learning and seeing how things work out with different substrates and training methods etc.
Currently I'm setting my nutrients pH levels between 5.5-6.2, aiming for 5.8 but letting it drift so nutrients can be absorbed.
I'm aiming for EC values around 2.2 at the moment.
I give the soil plant water only, or water and guano, or flavor savior (organic), no salt based ferts.
Anyway,
I've been babbling on enough for now, so here's some pics.
